Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams has an incredibly personal connection to the cause of breast cancer awareness. Four of his aunts died of breast cancer, and last year, so did his mother, Sandra Hill. Williams has dyed his hair pink, painted his toenails, and written about his family’s history of breast cancer, all to draw attention to the cause. The NFL supports him in these efforts—but only to the extent that they get something out of it...

I'm on the NFL's side, tbh..if you allow 1 player to do it, where will it stop?

It will stop when there aren't any more players with legitimate reasons for getting an exception to the stupid rules.

If they reach a point where they have to evaluate the personal reasons for every player that makes a request for a tribute on their uniform, it's going to cause a lot of problems, tbh..

What's important to one person may not mean much to the next..

yeah...you can't just let all the players run around willy nilly in whatever they want to wear. He's free to wear pink all day all night long off the field. But we all know he's not going to do that.

Where does anyone work where their personal needs mean shit to management? You knew the rule when you hired on, and they don't care about you, if you can't abide by their rules, see ya~~~~~~~
