I agree, they've really carried the Panthers' albatross of a QB. Imagine how scary Carolina would be with Based Anderson under center.

Meh, 2nd half was a good showing but we gave away points to a underperforming offense. Seattle never should have scored on that Lockette drive, whether giving up the third and long in their territory or not getting the easy INT on that long TD pass. Then there was the drive on which Marshawn got the TD, didn't we let Graham assfuck us on that too? I may be mistaken.

I actually think we're better than the scored showed. If the goddamn missed PI -- fingers in Ginn's helmet for fucks sake -- along with the damn near INTs we should have picked up when Seattle was deep in their own territory... I think a lot of the 50/50 bounces went Seattle's way.

Seattle has 3 of 4 losses to undefeated teams... I still think they finish 8-8 or maybe 9-7, something close to that, probably not enough to win the division.

You will never ever figure it out will ya slick? Do I really have to show you all the great QB's first 4 years compared to RW's? Do you have any clue at all? Stupid, find any QB you want and lets look at RW's 4 career vs theirs ok? Come on little man, let's do that ok?

By the way how is Joe Flacco doing, hahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nope, because it's not about him, it's about that offensive line and Quinn leaving. Now add no Kam for a couple games and today no Bobby Wagner.

That offensive like is sad.

I'm not one to over react early in any season, ya gotta give things some time. Well after six weeks it is time to start paying close attention. The Seahawks must beat my Niners and the Cowboys on the road in the next two weeks. That wil get them to their bye week, if they don't win both those games, they can pretty much forget the playoffs.

Damn, if only they didn't blow $87.6 million on a CFL backup QB. They'd probably be able to afford an O-line if not for that game manager and his contract.

i agree that his contract is steep, but the problem is, that's the going rate for quarterbacks. there is a huge bubble when it comes to QB contracts... guys like Kraep, Dalton, Tannehill, Cutler, Flacco, Wilson, Eli, Stafford, Cam all got monster deals, and just about every one of those guys are overpaid (though Dalton suddenly looks like a good deal).

The only high paid QB's that are earning their checks are Rodgers, Ben, Rivers, Brady, and Romo

Right now, the landscape of the NFL dictates that FA qb's get paid ridiculous amounts. last time i remember a situation like this was before they instituted the rookie scale and guys like Sam Bradford got 6/80 right off the bat

So while I do think Wilson gets too much, when you compare his deal to the deals of other QB's around the league, it's nothing egregious

Keep in mind RW started the first game of his rookie season and has never missed missed.

He never had a passer rating over 88

Wilson plays it safe. Doesn't make a lot of high risk throws and at the slightest trouble in the pocket will tuck it and run. He only makes safe throws which lead to his high efficiency. Overall though, he's really abysmal in the pocket. Its obvious he can't carry a team long-term.

I don't think Brees' is overrated, but stop with that shit. He used to throw the ball 35-40 times a game… his passing offense gave him those stats.

With that being said, he's legit and was elite, and it's not his fault that their team isn't great anymore.

I know this will be controversial, but SD made the right decision by sticking with Rivers over Brees.

Lol boxscore reading only, come on. If he leads a drive to the one that results in stewart punching it that doesn't go into the TD column despite Cam leading 95% of that drive. One int was his fault granted, the other was a hit on his elbow as he was throwing it because Remmers our RT fucked up big.

PFF noticed:

– It was a rough afternoon for RT Mike Remmers (-5.2), as he was beaten handily by Seattle DE Cliff Avril. Giving up six hurries (four to Avril, one was erased by penalty), Remmers proved mostly susceptible to the bull rush. The most damaging example being at 4:20 of the first quarter, where Avril drove through him to get a piece of Newton’s arm, sending a fluttering ball into the waiting arms of Kam Chancellor.

4 80+ yard drives against the LOB in Seattle, tbh :tu

Anyone in a top 10 list is going to be there because of opportunities. You don't look at Payton, Smith, and Sanders and dismiss the amount of yards by saying, "well yeah...it's because they got a lot of carries".
That offense was viable in part because of Brees. You can't just put an average QB in there and get those numbers. QB's in that group are going to be elite for the most part. So it's a decent metric to use.

– QB Cam Newton (+4.9) posted his fourth game over +1.0 and a nice rebound out of the bye week after his lowest-graded game of the season in Week 4. Connecting eight times on throws aimed more than 10 yards downfield before taking advantage of the Seattle coverage bust on the game-winner, Newton was on target with the majority of his patented fastballs.

i used to like PFF when they had their unique stats, like Yards Per Route Run for receivers, and other cool figures like that... but their general "player ratings" that people gravitate to, while good click bait (i still check them from time to time :lol) are incredibly subjective, flawed, and often times flat out wrong

also, my bad, wilson was 3rd behind Ryan Kalil and Kawann Short :lol
