Has anyone else been really impressed with Kawhi's passing this preseason. He has made some fantastic passes. They haven't always resulted in assists, but this is a huge step towards him being the focal point of the offense. If he can take over the role of running the offense more it will take pressure off Tony and Manu to do so much. We just need to hope Manu keeps hitting his 3s and Tony can hit them at even close to the rate he started hitting them last year.

Noticed it quite a bit last year. His court vision and passing abilities are really underrated. Only thing holding him back from really being able to run an offense is his ballhandling.

See people always mention his ball handling as a weakness. To be honest, I don't see why. You almost never see him lose the ball in traffic or get the ball stripped. He seems to always have control of the ball, even if he himself is sometimes out of control.

People see it as a weakness because they don't see him mixing up is moves/handle in ISO's or pick-and-roll where he can easily get into the paint and still be under control, ready to make a play. I don't see this as a weakness, just not a strength; he keeps his turnovers down so even though he may not create a lot of shot opportunities, with his dribble, he still helps the team.

Agree, his usage rate has increased with a lower TOs per game.
