When LaMarcus Aldridge Will Truly Be a Spur.

Conclusion:

"Then one day it'll click that even that doesn't matter, that the relationships are far more important to him than the scoreboard.
And that's when LaMarcus Aldridge will truly be a Spur."

As long as the Spurs are up on that scoreboard I'm okay with that. :lol

I wonder if part of Pop's plan is to aggressively get out of the gates with plenty of wins, so LMA is happy with a 'diminished' offensive role. Or maybe when we rest the olds on back to backs LMA will be more of The Man, giving him a bit of opportunity to showcase that he's still elite.

If anything, maybe we contend for the #1 seed because we're not sacrificing potential wins as much as in the past couple years in order to appease LMA's offensive stats.

When they win the championship and Lamarcus is near the center of all the hugging, that's when he'll truly be a Spur.

To me LMA damn near deserved his jersey to hang from the rafters when he signed on the dotted line. He's been a Spur and an important Spur since that very day. I hope he finishes his career here and his Jersey ends up there with all the other Spurs greats (and maybe an extra championship banner or two or three up there as well)

When he stops counting his field goal attempts.
