I feel like LeBron was trying to use Manziel to gain more followers the same way he tries to paint himself as a socially/politically conscious person when he's marketing Nikes in the hood.

Manziel is NOT Leaf 2.0. He was always hyped as a great college quarterback, but all experts knew well prior to draft day 2014 that it would take some time for Manziel's game to translate into the NFL, if ever; thus, he was drafted no earlier than the late first round. A better example of Leaf 2.0 would be if Andrew Luck had completely busted. Even Winston and Mariota weren't hyped the way Leaf was.
