Wondering if they structured Bonner's contract to pay for a year or two of "volunteer" interning as coach/front office type?

Since he hasn't played at all, doesn't seem like he will be sticking around as a player.

thoughts?

He'll get some meaningful minutes somewhere down the line, I don't know when but they'll always find a way to plug him in, maybe against OKC to pull Ebola away from the basket? Inevitably, West, Duncan, and even (occasionally) Aldridge are each going to get some rest days. Rasual Butler is NOT a 4, but he's a very servicable backup 3. Boban can play center, but do we really want 2 guys clogging the lane in the spread motion offense when the stars are on the bench? I don't think so.

Waste of a roster spot. Dude is getting paid to sit, wtf kind of charity are we running?

In b4 the "he helped against OKC" excuse where he bricked every shot but one.

Hope so, his main contribution was back in the OKC series and that's it... Go eat those sandwiches
