Man, what the krew don't acknowledge is that until Kawhi shows leadership, he can't be an star or mvp. He can be voted into the all star game, and win dpoy,, and be a top 10 player and still be a role player. Because they can't rebut this they have to resort to personal attacks and distortion. It's a shame, Kawhi is good, but it's like you insult Jesus when you post anything not explicitly positive.

I would have voted Kawhi higher on the role player list, but I'm not a professional analyst like these guys, just a casual fan.

It's a bit hard to categorize the Spurs players, since they've doing stuff as a team and there is never an undisputed best player on the team.

With that said, Kawhi has had his moments, but for several reasons he hasn't been seen as the star of the team, and hasn't been selected for an all star game.

So it's not that hard to see the discrepancies between fans, analysts and whatever.
His leadership and ability to control games as a star is still questionable.

This year he can just jump into stardom consensus if he's healthy and can keep the pace of last season.

With that said, I kind of like the team approach that makes it hard to name a clear MVP, and that they keep winning with this formula.
Which is one of the reasons I have enjoyed the Spurs since they became an elite team again.
