Starting with a bang! Good on you!

The article is pretty in depth and I like the stuff they're saying. But the last part about Kawhi wanting to be an All Star and MVP I think is taking his words out of context. I think he wants to play at an MVP level, I don't know if he is playing to get a trophy.

I agree. Kawhi gives no shits about hoisting anything but another Larry O'brien trophy. He wants to be great and be recognized as such by his opponents and coaches. The proof is in the puddin' pop when we win another ring.

It's a nice article, but the idea that Kawhi was somehow "forgotten" after winning the finals MVP seems a bit far-fetched since he also won the DPOY in a season where he missed a decent amount of games. He's not as well known to casual fans outside of San Antonio, but every serious basketball fan (and especially fans of statistics) are acutely aware of him and his huge impact while on the floor...
