Turnovers way too high 3.5 a game

He needs to work on his shot selection. I like his aggressiveness but he is chucking a bit and he really isn't looking to set his teammates up. I'm all for his expanded offensive role because he has the tools to be very good imo but it's easy to see that when they pass him the ball, he lowers his head goes to work without looking to pass. Hopefully he doesn't go Kobe on us tbh

I'd rather him stay aggressive, be a bit of a chucker, and believe he'll learn to be more selective as he progresses. I'll take that over him parking in the corner and non existent.

24 ppg on 20 shots at 50% fg combined with A+ defense is MVP stuff, if he ends up with numbers like these after 82 games. Stop looking a gift horse in the mouth.

you a GSW fan?
I'll take that too. He's young still and needs to be aggressive. He will then look at film and see where his TO came from, what he needs to clean up.
With young guys Pop is usually very strict, but he's already been given green light and we need to see what he does with it. I would prefer he would make smart passes as well, but then he runs the risk of being in too deferential a note. I believe Pop is too good of a coach to let him get into Russy Westbrook's crazy chucking mode. But right now from what I have seen, they don't have him to make plays for others but to be selfish and look for his own stuff.

I said MVP stuff... not actual MVP award. Lots of competition for it. Top 5 in MVP consideration will be great news for our chances,

Kawhi has shown flashes of playmaking ability in the past - absolutely zero this season, but he can do it and I'm certain he will as the season progresses.

Growing pains, not easy going from a guy that is set up to a guy that is consistently creating his own stuff.

Its awful watching him on the offensive end if his jump shot is not falling like in the OKC game. His offensive game is very mechanical and just isn't naturally fluid plus he has zero passing skills so it makes easier for defenses to to key on him.

It's a process tbh... He will stabilize soon enough

So far it's a bit messy on the Offensive end, 4 assists for 12 TOVs in 5 games is pretty awful, his FG% is down from last year, his 3 pts shooting is terrible but put it in the context where he increased his FGAs by 45% from 13 to 19... it's a massive evolution and it will take a bit of time.

Now on the other end, his defense is not suffering which is the most important, his rebounding numbers are astonishing... The whole package gives a PER at 23 best in his career.

tldr; Kawhi is fine
