Damn, what did this guy do during the offseason. He's been balling so far. We all knew this guy had a very high level of work ethic and one of the most passionate in the game but what he's doing so far is unreal.

To Manu tbh :worthy:

Manu's been great. He's played a lot more minutes than I expected him to though.

We're much better with him on the floor, but I hope Pop doesn't burn him out early in the year tbh.

Barring an injury, I think he can handle it tbh. 25 mins/game should be his max in the regular season. That's plenty of time for an efficient player like Manu.

It think he is motivated, after 3 years of long runs he is well rested and now that :cry Lamilton and West are part of the team he feels big things are coming and wants to have the last years of his career ending in a high note.

it's all about his shooting really.

He looks like he's got legs for those three...as long as he still has that, he's crafty enough of a player to get past 2unit defenders on rolls and pops.

gotta keep those legs fresh...

2nd unit looks terrible without him. He hasn't got a replacement on the roster yet. Anderson and Simmons aren't even close.

Glad he decided to come back another year.

We need him right now to win games, but we cannot use him this much ... I doubt he can keep this up ...

If he ends up shooting above 40% on threes for the season i'll be happy as hell.

i think he can. 2014 he was great up until playoffs, last year he was gassed by december because of a lot of injuries and was shit in the playoffs

if everyone stays healthy I think manu can play 20-25 against good teams and rest against bad teams imho

He didn't actually eliminate the possibility of coming back next year.

Let's hope we keep Manu around a long time, as we've nobody of his caliber to replace him.

You can see him and DW/LMA trying to work the PnR but it's not there yet. Once it is, turn out the lights.

If the "younger" players donīt start injuring themselves on the shower heīll be fine by the Playoffs.
Last yearīs December stretch was brutal, and very rare. He averaged more minutes for december than any other year for the past 8 years. That was gaoing to hit him at some point.

It WILL work. Manu is the PnR king, we have seen scrubs like Ayers, Blair and others look like NBA players thanks to manu.

Seconded... there might just be enough of 2005 Ginobili in the very depths of his calves.

Manu is averaging 21.3 MPG through 3 games played, which is the lowest in his career by 1.5 minutes. As much as I'd love to bottle what he's got and save it for the playoffs, gotta let the playa play.

Obviously a small sample size, but his Per 36 numbers are also ridiculous right now..20/7/8 along with 3.4 steals.
