Hill/Monta/Stuckey just won't work w/ Hill playing point guard & Paul being a perimeter oriented PF b/c both Monta/Stuckey are mediocre off the ball. Paul also is going to age like Gerald Wallace if he has to bang w/ true PFs since he's rail thin unlike Draymond. One of his main advantages was his length on both ends of the floor but that is neutralized when he plays PF.

They should just make Monta a super sub & trade Stuckey to the Pelicans for Quincy Pondexter since they have a decimated backcourt.

As I've been saying for years, Bird's potato-looking ass is one of the most overrated GMs in recent memory..as usual, he gets a pass because he's Larry Bird and he will never be criticized for anything(for obvious reasons)..

Even Dad Killer is widely ridiculed for his front office moves:lol..

I don't get overpaying for mediocre to average NBA aging wings and declining a 2-million option on a mid-20-year-old SG/SF who averaged like 9-4-3 last year and was praised as the team's best perimeter defender.

Solomon Hill isn't going to be a star, but he's got some Draymond Green to his game and is worth developing one year after he led your team in minutes (or close to it).

Solid takes all around, it seems Larry Legend woke up one day & realize this is the era of pace & space, then panicking in finding out a volume chucking guard of his own while banishing all the foundation as a defensive team in the process. Lucky for them, Myles Turner seems to be the real deal.

It was a complete remake and it wasn't bad tbh. They just don't have any nba caliber bigs right now so it won't look good. Ellis is actually a good fit next to Hill since Hill isn't a real PG. Last year though he took a huge step and he's been All-Star caliber since and now Ellis isn't really a good fit next to him tbh. If they had a solid defensive big and one offensive one then they would be a top 4 seed in the East.

As overrated as gm as he was as player tbh. Great white hope etc etc.

That Monta Ellis signing is a disaster. Pacers are the Guest Team of the East.

He was smoking the "I'm a fat-faced white man who doesn't know how to manage a basketball team" plant.
