Fallen Star. I was watching this game... and couldn't believe that was Kobe Bryant missing BADLY multiple times.

first it was his speed/mobility... but now it's his shot.... how depressing. :(

Fallen Star.

You can't "fall" when you were already in the shitpile your entire career :lol

:lmao Have you never watched Kirby play before?

This is just typical Kirby. The only reason people think anything's changed is because he doesn't have a Shaq or an MVPau or an Odom or a Horry or a Fisher or an Artest, et al. to carry him and make him look good.

Even MJ was a good shooter at 40+ years of age.

Nique at the same age post-achilles was a better player.

Pau couldn't win a single playoff game till Kobe held his hand.

Maybe Lakers can nab Gilbert Arenas, heard he was planning a comeback and he would be an upgrade over Kobe :lmao

To be fair, Wizards' Jordan's era was much friendlier to his style of play than Kobe's current style of play..he still had much more in the tank, regardless, but low-post perimeter players that didn't play defense were much easier to hide in the early 2000s than today..

:lmao on that first one he wanders towards the basket while the Nugs go on a break for a dunk.

That's either complete "I don't give a fuck" or stupidity.

He definitely put his head down after the first one and gave up on the play. Seriously, why is LA still playing this guy, he's absolutely trash now.

this is a multi-billion dollar business where 'what have you done for me lately' is asked. kobe is clearly a shell of his former self, at the very least he should ask to come off the bench because at this point he's embarrassing himself.

This is not about starting or benching. If Kobe plays the right way he is still a gifted passer and post player. he can still hit the fade away. But the dribble exhibitions, contested 3's (heck even open 3's are iffy)were always inefficient shots. but now they are like turnovers for this Laker team that can't defend and he is hitting them at a far lessor rate.

I think at this point Lakers should just go all offense and tray and increase the pace. we cant defend anyway but might as well let these young kids run and gun.

Missing a three point shot is understandable, but putting your head down and refusing to play defense isn't...

MJ in his last season w/ the Wizards had the SAME shooting percentage as PRIME Kobe:lmao

Refusing to play D and never being capable of playing D are two different things..

Steph Curry's 3pt% (48.8%) is almost 18 points higher than Kobe's FG% (32.3%).

Have you seen what has become of Vince Carter dude complete fell off in a matter of a season once he left the Mavs b/c he has no legs on his jumper & has lost a bunch of steps thus can't get by anyone. Vince is a pretty good passer & still has a decent post game but he can't defend anyone or make an open shot so he's a net negative. The same thing applies to Kobe this season, he has to play no more than 20 minutes to be effective.
