The Pac-10? :p

Pac 10 is always underrated.

This season, the Pac-10 is not what it has been....SC is going to walk through it. I thought Reggie Bush should have won last year. I'm not counting out Vince Young just yet but I think both of them are more deserving than Leinart. Right now, I would still lean toward Bush. If Texas runs the table, I would vote for Young.

The other Reggie, Reggie McNeal, will have something to say about that this year.

He will have an awesome year in leading the Ags to a great season.

Brady Quinn is doing his damnedest to make sure his name is in the hat at the end of the season. Even with 3 losses, Quinn will get the Golden Domer gift - national media support.

That would be the same media support that took ND from unranked to #10 in two weeks. I think Scott may have a point.

ND may have media love, but USC is in the cat seat.

With the 2nd (or maybe 1st :() Pick in the 2006 NFL draft, the San Fransico 49ers select, Reggie Bush, Running Back, USC.

Horry For 3!

49ers drafted Alex Smith & Frank Gore. They need to draft an O-line.

Matt Lienart will get more play than Bush cause he is the guy who runs the whole show at USC.

This is a true statement, but he looks pretty damn good when all he has to do is get the ball in Reggie Bush's hands. I don't think Bush will win it, but he probably should.

Bush is awesome. Icould not believe how open all the USC receivers where on almost every pass attempt. Unfortunately, by the looks of their remaining schedule that could be the norm for the rest of the season. Cal, ASU and ND shoould all give them a decent game but I don't see any of them beating them!

Vince will need to just go off the hook if he is to surpass Lienart for the Heisman trophy. Too bad for Vince he has only played into the first series of the 3rd quarter in games that he has achance to put up some guady stats!

As if Frank Gore could hold a candle to Reggie Bush. Hell, Gore can't even knock off Barlow. Unless you have that franchise back, I don't think you pass on a guy like Bush for a tackle.

Bush is great and will be good/great in the NFL for 7-8 years. BUT...

A dominant offensive tackle will change your running game, and pass protection schemes. He will be dominant for 10+ years and can play 15+ years.

NEVER underestimate the value of a dominant offensive lineman.

i think reggie bush is an amazing player... but how can you ignore leinart's stats this season so far:

sc @ hawaii: 18/24, 332 yards, 3 TDs, 1 INT
sc vs. arkansas: 18/24, 381 yards, 4 TDs, 0 INTs.. even a 17 yard rushing TD

in both of those games he didn't even play past the middle of the 3rd quarter. hell, in hawaii the offense wasn't on the field until almost the end of the 1st quarter. against arkansas, he lead 8 drives, touchdowns on 7 of them (the half ended the other).

of course, you could argue, using bush's stats, that reggie makes leinart the QB that he is. the team even voted bush the mvp last year in their annual awards.

but, leinart does an excellent job of efficiently and accurately leading this team to wins. as a starter (even before bush was the player he is now), he is 27-1. i can't really go against him at this point. until something else happens my vote is with him over reggie.
