Not with Chuck Curry winning MVP. The 3 point shot has never been more prevalent.

The only thing that's inside out in the NBA is Jim's rectum, when he's done taking dick in the booty and suffers a rectal prolapse.

Not as long as AAU tells every big they are a wing. Entire circuit de-emphasizes traditional big man skillsets. As long as stardom in shoe-circuits lead to big-time college offers which leads to big-time NBA shoe contracts, 6-9 through 7-0 bigs will continue to adapt to perimeter oriented high school/AAU.

Okafor was a outlier. Even Davis took a ton of jumpers.

There are a couple of good big men in this year's rookie class, like Okafor (:lmao Lakers), so there's potential.

Out of those bigs you named, only Okafor, Cousins, and to a lesser extent Whiteside play "inside" and are capable of drawing double teams.

Davis is not really a huge post-up threat. He does his most of his damage thru the pick and roll and while facing up, and now he's turning more and more into a jump shooter (ala Blake Griffin).

Drummond and Gobert get most of their points on alley-oops and offensive boards.

Haven't seen much of Towns and Porzingis but their games don't seem to rely heavily with their back to the basket.

Some teams will use inside-out ball due to personnel but I don't see it happening league-wide. I mean, these days you have talented post players like DeMarcus Cousins, Blake Griffin, Brook Lopez, moving further away from the basket. Hate it or love it, pace and space is gonna be the status quo for a while.

Since Byron wants Kobe to play closer to the rim, I don't see anything coming back out when it goes inside.

Cousins/Monroe are the only cats that play inside-out, Okafor/Jefferson can't pass whatsoever.

Davis is a jump shooter
Towns is questionable but I doubt he'll be an inside and out player with his ability to shoot
Okafor can't pass
Drummond is a shiity ass offensive player who rely on lobs and offensive boards
Whiteside is an average post player
Cousins..Sure
Porzingiz likes to shoot and step out
Gobert is not an offensive player.

WTF is op on?

In short, no.

In this three point era, post players can always be potentially dangerous, especially if they're high IQ guys like Duncan. There'll never be a time when an effective post scorer & post passer won't be valuable-- it's just a matter of putting the right pieces around him.

No. The game has evolved past stagnant offensive sets. It just won't happen except in the case of truly dominant bigs (who would be a threat in any offensive situation anyway).

With the Warriors winning the championship on smallball and analytics and the Grizzlies sucking ass this season, it appears that millennial ball has won out for good. So, no.

I don't see it at this point, a lot of teams are invested in small ball revolution. Unless teams like SAC, 76ers and Miami becomes relevant...

I think after seeing how Jim squandered off his wealth in Cali wineries during a severe drought we can all agree his IQ is not high at all.
