anybody else notice sean always plays a game of grab ass after he and bill interview somebody?
Kawhigod in the postgame interview just said he doesn't even watch other players' tape. This nigga is destroying all these other top level SFs defensively without even scouting them. :wow

pop has to bench parker agaisnt the warriors. Rest him or something, but parker is fucking us up. His fans(and how he still has them is beyond my knowledge) know this, but won't admit it. He's our biggest problem. Every team has one . The lakers have kobe, we have parker.
Thank goodness Pop didn't play Parker down the stretch this time. The sac broadcasters made it sound like it was a luxury Parker was resting lol. Parker just can't hit a jumpshot consistently and his defense and turnovers are worse than Mills. At least Mills can run a fastbreak, play good defense or hit a three ball every once in awhile. Parker's leadership is valuable but right now his offense and defense is meh. Oh and Pop will definitely put Parker on Curry when they play the Warriors. Curry will go off for 40 points if that's the case.

Patty is slowly eating on Parker minutes in the 4thQ
Maybe. But maybe Pop was just resting Tony and going with the hot hand. I personally hope the transition is underway. Patty was balling tonight!

NBA teams do very little scouting for regular season games IIRC..

interesting ... I think we are throwing away games against some eastern conference competition because the players just have no clue who the opposing players are

I've heard Pop, the Van Gundys and I think it was PJ Carlisemo say that they don't really have time to watch other teams during the regular season, they focus almost strictly on their own team's growth and philosophy..I think Pop and SVG said the team would enter the game with a basic strategy vs. the opposing team, knowing some of their primary tendencies, but not enough time to actually thoroughly scout their plays like they do in the playoffs..

Look how easily we beat teams when we want. We fucked around all game long. That Somalian hit some shots as did those untalented overrated bigs.

Pop is actually going to the hot hand more often lately, and benching guys after a few mistakes, actually taking them out of the game early for example.
Tony with just 2 assists today, Patty with 8.

Its more likely that Butler is a better option at the 3 than Boris, just go to Boban, Diaw, Butler or Kyle, Manu, Mills.

Would Diaw get burned any worse than Anderson does on defense? I'd throw it out there a few times to see if it works at the very least.
Most disappointing thing this season, despite what half the board says about Parker's performance (temper your expectations), have been KA/Simmons not being ready to play at all. Thank god for Butler.

I have heard that too. They are too busy making sure their own team executes their own plays and defensive schemes well to watch others during the RS. This year I would imagine it is even more significant for the Spurs to focus on their own issues.

I agree with you. I don't like how passive Kyle has been TBH. Simmons looked worse than Kyle in preseason, so he's even less ready.
Pop was right that Rasual was the perfect vet to mentor these two.
Anderson does have lenght and has been surprisingly better and making hustle plays than everyone gave him credit for. If his offensive game comes around he could be good for us, maybe next season TBH. Butler is going to unseat him as it is.
Needs to keep working on that shot, on a daily basis, and be more aggressive on offense.

I think it was last year or the year before after the Boston game when Pop was asked about someone, don't remember who, and he basically said he hasn't watched tape on them and he leaves it to his assistants, who'd then give him tips.

just tell what actually happened. Parker trying to do too much on fast breaks and dribbling the air out of the ball and West trying to use all 6 of his fouls. Just tell what you actually see.

Patty has closed the last few 2nd quarters IIRC
Yeah but this seemed a little different, at least to me
It was immediately after some bad plays by Parker
Followed Patty closing the game & getting the majority of the total minutes at PG
Didnt shoot it great but 8 ast & 4 stls + keepin the ball moving, ILL TAKE IT!
