His coworkers kinda did a " now wait a minute" , and Van Gundy continues, " well it's true"
Shots Fired!
Then they dropped it VERY quickly. The NFL board with the Cowboy fans should be on this.

I told yall years ago Mavfaggots were lame.
It was actually a bigger slam directed at Cowboy fans.
I can't believe Van Gundy does not get called out on this.
This has to show up somewhere tomorrow.

:lmao a bunch of sanctimonious bullshit that means nothing but sounds good to weak minded dipshits. If Jeff Van Gundy is so concerned with shit like that, why does he work for the same company that employs Ray Lewis?

If ESPN loves the smack talk I can't figure out why they changed the subject so quickly, let him loose. His cohorts shut it down quickly.

They have every reason to boo him. He has every right to change his mind, but waiting for a week and changing his mind at the last minute screwed the Mavs over this Free Agency. Anyone they could have signed to replace him was already signed and they had to look for scraps.
As for Hardy, the guy has been beasting. The guy has a temperament problem and needs to control it. But from last I heard he didn't kill anyone, rape anyone. Just pushed his GF around who seems was like a real bitch. Though I agree you should never hit a woman or be physical with one unless she is trying to kill you, this is just something he needs to taught.

He's so full of shit. If you listen to talk radio here in DFW or sample fan opinion, most Cowboys fans are NOT happy about Greg Hardy being on their team and wish the Cowboys hadn't signed him. Mavs fans have a right to dislike DeAndre Jordan becaused he chumped on their team.
I mean, Van Gundy's comments are incoherent and kinda bizarre. The Greg Hardy situation has nothing to do with DeAndre's free agency flip-flop and they are in no way comparable. Is he seriously suggesting that because in their private lives DAJ is presumably a better person than Greg Hardy that Mavs fans shouldn't boo him because he took a dump on their team in free agency?

Yeah I don't know a lot of Cowboy fans who are big Greg Hardy fans, but by and large a lot of Cowboy fans are dumb motherfuckers.
That said, I'm not so sure there's necessarily a lot of crossover between Hardy fans and Maverick fans.

This is fucking retarded logic tbh. Like Kim Jong stated, this sort of stupid quip sounds clever to low-I.Q. individuals, when in reality it is just in fact retarded logic. What, just b/c the team that you support signed a player who's a dick, you're supposed to suddenly hate the team and never root for them again? Burn your jerseys? Boycott the team entirely? Think about how stupid that sounds. 90+% of Dallas fans are fans of the Cowboys, not Greg Hardy. Everyone knows he's a POS, doesn't mean you can't root for your team that consists of 51 other players.
And of course Dallas fans are going to boo DeAndre Jordan, he spurned them after agreeing to sign a contract there and completely fuck their opportunity to sign other big-name free agents. Any team would boo him, that's common sense. Comparing those boo's to the cheers for the Cowboys are not comparable. It's just dumb logic.
Regardless, there are 14 other players currently in the NFL who have been arrested for DV-related incidents, and you never hear a single word about them. ESPN and the Liberal media have turned this into a witch hunt and are trying to vilify Hardy as much as possible, although he's not exactly making it difficult because he's an idiot and won't just shut up.

A lot of people did not even know who Greg Hardy was until he signed with Dallas. Wearing that uniform impacts the level of scrutiny - even after 20 years of mediocre play.
JVG needs to realize that good guys like Jason Witten and (yes) Tony Romo also play for the Cowboys. A lot of quality people play and coach in Dallas.
Hopefully Stephen Jones will lowball Hardy this offseason. I would not trust the guy to do the right thing long term.
One superior season for the Cowboys and the bandwagon will fill up quickly and the anti-DC folks will hate it.

I'm supposed to stop being a Cowboys fan because they signed Hardy? I wish they hadn't. I do think if guys go through the legal process then at some point they have the right to resume their careers if some team will have them...and you can't field a roster of 53 if you expect all your guys to be straight arrow Boy Scouts. Hardy is far from the only bad dude currently on an NFL roster. But I do wish that in this particular instance the Cowboys had passed. I would be willing to bet most Cowboys fans feel this way. What the fuck is Van Gundy even talking about, like his jersey is flying off the shelves and he's doing Gatorade ads or some shit.
As for DeAndre, the Mavs and us fans should not carry on all butthurt in public, but going forward I do wish ill on him and his teams professionally. I am always going to root for that guy and his teams to lose. There's sports hate and real hate, and booing him at the game is harmless sports hate. And in this case it's well-earned, because he did fuck the Mavs over. He absolutely had the right to make a decision on where was the best place for him to be for the next four years, but he handled it about as poorly as possible. The antipathy is earned.

And boo the fact that your owner also said he wanted to build around Lillard, not LMA and Lillard, but just Lillard. That is a cold slap to the groin if there ever was one.

You had Cowboy homers defending him for damn near killing someone, but goddamn if someone changes their mind which happens all the time in business. JVG was absolutely right. And btw, it's ironic these same dipshits boo Jordan when Parsons did the exact same shit.

Similar thing happened with the Suns. Diaw, Johnson, Bell and Amare and that other frenchie left. They held on to Nash. Diaw got his ring. SA has taken TMac, Glenn Robinson and Diaw (with his help) to the promised land. TMac didn't cash in but the nigga didn't hit a single fucking shot. Not one. At least we got him out of the 1st round.

:lol his point is pretty stupid, but not necessarily for the reasons that have already been stated..
The NFL and boxing attracts viewers that are literally cheering for men to hurt other men, myself included..we're all guilty of this..these sports aren't basketball or soccer or baseball where you're watching for the appreciation of the skills and/or the beauty of the game..football is a sport where you can't achieve your goal of scoring without hurting somebody in the process:lol..
It seems silly for people to demand that Hardy be ostracized/blackballed from football(many are asking for this) when the entire point of his profession is to hurt other people:lol..a football player, particularly a defensive player, is crazy and has severe anger problems? wow, that's shocking:lol..
There's a reason White people loved 90s basketball, too, and it wasn't just the presence of Dad Killer..:( we miss our goons, we miss watching niggas hurt each other for our entertainment:(

Last time I checked, Latrell Sprewell played for JVG's knicks in his only NBA finals head coaching appearance. Coach chocking is a violent offense as well.

You people are overthinking this. JVG made a simple and true point: it's a little ironic that people would boo an athlete for a relatively innocuous act, simply changing his mind about which team to play for (and not handling it in the best way), when there's another athlete in the same city who has done something far worse. He never said Cowboy fans shouldn't support their team. He wasn't surprised about the booing. He simply disagreed with it.

One has nothing to do with the other. At all. He just wanted to get on his Greg Hardy soapbox and found the first opportunity to awkardly shoehorn it into the broadcast.

Well, they're both athletes that have been disparaged for reprehensible acts...except one is way worse than the other. That's all he was saying. If people are going to show disgust toward an athlete, they should expend their energy on someone who actually deserves it.

No one is claiming DeAndre Jordan committed some "reprehensible act" or did anything comparable to beating his wife, they're simply booing someone who fucked their team over in free agency. The notion that anyone in Dallas was trying to claim moral high ground is a strawman argument.
As Kim Jong said, JVG's comment was sanctimonious horseshit meant to appeal to the average retard who's heart has been bleeding over domestic violence since the manufactured Ray Rice outrage.
