Still surprised he didn't snap his wrist. Looks like he fell on the hand first.

I had no clue he actually flushed that dunk. What a beast.

It's unfortunate and unpredictable imo, but a lay up might have avoided that.

Hope he's 100%

I love how clutch West was there. He looked down and saw Kawhi, and he immediate dove at the closest Blazer to stop the game. Then he was the first guy to Kawhi's side.

One of the best in game dunks ever. Glad he didn't get injured. But really, that dunk top any dunk I have seen Griffin has done. That was sick that he actually DID DUNK IT at with his body going away from the basket.

holy shit, the reaction of Timmy. Yep the godfather of the team knows exactly how important Kawhi is and how close that fall was to being really really nasty. Watching it live I honestly thought there was no way he would escape that injury fee. Haven't read any post game stories so I hope he is ok and it was just a stinger.

Thought the same thing. Tho' MVPlumlee was helping the Spurs' cause with a couple goaltendings around the same time.

Plumlee is a dirty/inciting player but that was a clean play. Kawhi was the one looking for contact there.

One of the first things I noticed after it happened. West handled it real quick.

In no way shape or form is Kawhi looking for contact. That is absurd.

West is the guy you want having your back. Similar to SJax, except a little less crazy. No guns in strip club parking lots, a little more grounded.

Also, that outlet pass last night was great.

West and LA are two guys that I have wanted on the team for a long time. More West though. I wish we could have gotten him sooner but I think it might be a blessing in disguise. He seems to work well with the 2nd unit. Any sooner and he would have been with the starters.

Everything is falling into place.:lobt2:

West is exactly the type of dawg you want running with your pack.

Remember last year that video of Spurs coming out from a club Tim holding up Baynes in a wifebeater...

And Diaw was all cool and relaxed, collecting honeys on the bus..

Now add West to that mix haha

Just from a intangibles standpoint, this group of guys looks like it has the right balance of personalities, youth, hunger, grit, selflessness, skill and passion to be Championship caliber.

Kawhi literally put everything into jumping high enough, and moving hard enough that he had no control of his body immediately afterwards. He was not going to be denied those points, but I just hope he's more conscientious of his body. A 10 point 360 tomohawk dunk isnt worth sustaining an injury.

lol the Big Banger was wasted and with reason. Not every series you get posterized twice in such abusively way.

That's pretty much how I feel about Kawhi that if it wasn't for his long arms the guy wouldn't be getting off the ground. His long arms are like Dhalsims from Street Fighter.

Not everybody can be Gerald Green with his ridiculous vertical. Then again, not sure I'd want Gerald Green anywhere around the team. Wtf with his latest transgression?

Here's another formula thread by Dabom. Says nothing - just 13 emojis strung together. Ultimately, the threads are always about him (and his friends/alts - whichever). Any content has to be supplied by others, but that's always secondary.

Looks like he's been busy this morning, bumping his own threads, and getting a running start on his daily attention-whoring.

It's the way you look at this thing, but it's a nice video.

Not because "he set the tone for the begining with that dunk" like other guys said, just because the play shows how much Kawhi has improved that area of his game.

Obviously, he's not the best in the league at driving to the hoop, but we can see how hard he's working to get better at it.

Maybe in his past life (or current life?) Was a squirrel and he's used to stashing nuts in preparation for winter?

The complaint here might be petty, but we have dozens of kawhi threads to bump. Saying you saw kawhi do something awesome is not thread worthy but is post worthy. I lguess this is the leastess egregious fan on bumps.

Of my 3+ decades of watching basketball there are only 4 guys I've seen that could palm the ball off the dribble, Dr. J, Jordan, Pippen, and Kawhi. Doc in particular made it an art form...
