Ofcourse we raise the kids to follow our Spurs. But these days they just wanna jump on whoever is the current champion. I'm afraid loyalty of all sorts is a thing of the past. I have my teams and they're my teams till I die no matter what, those days may be over.

Nothing you can do. You already messed them up. I don't put that on the kid. I blame bad parenting for that one. I have 3 kids from 5 - 11 and all three are die hard Spurs fans.

My 5 year old will tell you that Tim Duncan is the GOAT. All three wear their jerseys and t shirts with pride.

Wow, that sucks, never thought of it cuz my kids all love the spurs. My oldest had a killer hesitation crossover in a freshmen game last year. He froze the defender and got a nice lay up out of it and some oohs ands aws from the crowd. He gets all of that from studying ginobili, pausing, rewinding then practicing. And before the joksters start, no he didn't any turnovers!

I've never seen anyone wear a Kawhi jersey here in NYC outside of when the Spurs are in town. Curry, Lebron, Kyrie, Durant, etc. jerseys & shirts are par for the course when kids show up at the gym. Give it a few weeks and some kids can finally throw away their Lin jerseys for Porzingas.

Maybe the Spurs are like wine and you don't fully appreciate them if not living & breathing them everyday until years later.
