“It’s my first time going through it,” Leonard said of the regular double teams. “It’s fun. You just go out there and try to compete and try to make a play for your teammates
When told Popovich put together a CD of his decision-making, Barkley was honored. “For Gregg Popovich to give a tape of me to Kawhi Leonard, that’s just awesome. It really is,” Barkley said. “I really appreciate that compliment.”

Watching this guy growth has been such a joy, tbh :cry..He may not have the innate talent, but his worth ethic and ambition are off the charts..

I like those simple tips tbh...
Barkley offered more tips:
• Don’t pass the ball before the double team arrives.
• Don’t give up the dribble until you know where to pass the ball.
• Know from where the double team is coming.

Barkley's learning curve was longer than KL's

How the heck did we manage to go from Tim Duncan as the centerpiece to Kawhi Leonard? Spurs fan base is the luckiest in sports. :cry:cry:cry:cry:cry:cry

That was a nice little article. So far we have not see this great passing but its a process. He is very efficient scoring so I can't complain TBH. For sure you can tell he has a different mindset this season.

This fool has to be sick. Not drafting Sam Bowie sick, but sick nonetheless.

Imagine how the other teams feel on passing him up too... SAC/PHX/HOU etc..

Paul George at SG and Kawhi at SF... I wonder how this lineup would work offensively. Defensively they would have amazing flexibility as both guys are pretty big and quick.

Everyone in sports media thought he was crazy when he said "Kawhi Leonard is a top 10 or 15 player in the NBA"...three years ago. A visionary, after all. :toast

Maybe he could replace him as analyst also... It would be better.
