It has more to do with the weak schedule than anything.

So is Kawhi's improvement as a player real, or do you think it's only because of a small sample size and a weak schedule?

I guess Danny hates LMA because he steals all the attention.

Kawhi's improvements are real and on full display. The high FG% has more to do with the weak schedule than anything LMA is doing specifically.

This will be a great to monitor. Are these with LMA on court? Green will revert back into the mid 40's as the season progresses.

Still a bad trade for the spurs. Splitter is better. I'd take splitter back any day now..

*sarcasm*, but there are more than a few who think this way

Good pointing out OP.

The weak schedule has more to do with the good teams playing them. Aldridge gets plenty of attention and allows everyone else to have less attention.

We all know Danny has had ridiculous looks and just can't get anything to fall early on. The baskets are much easier for everyone with LMA in the system. That's what great players do, they make the people around them better.

Claiming the sample size is too small for legitamacy, would also take away kawhis case for improvement as it could be argued, it's been against weak competition. Which isn't the case.

even with a weak schedule, Leonard doesn't really get a night off. The SF position, like the PG position, is pretty deep in the league. Even with bad teams like NY, Minnesotta, Sacramento, and Indiana, leonard doesn't get a break. He still has to guard the best scorer on the other team, score, and guard Tony Parker's assignment as well.

His efficiency is closer to what it was two years ago. Last year he dipped in FG%, possibly forcing or not quite ready.

I think he likes getting the ball on the move better. Like in 2014 when everyone was doing Share Ball and moving.
The 4 Dumb version like 2009 - 11 aka The Bonner Era, where too often Popped would have the ball dumped to Tim and then everyone else literally stand around.....not good.
I saw that too many times last year with Kwa and hope it doesnt creep into this year.

Yes, Leonard has improved by leaps and bounds however, I was responding to the OP's point about the FG% with LMA as opposed to without. I've noticed a few more double teams with LMA on the floor but the FG% numbers he posted are overall and not solely when LMA is on the court.

James with the goods.

When Danny gets going the starters will be tough to stop, and that's without LMA locking in.

Agree. Also, he was dealing with blurred vision due to an eye infection which affected his shot in the first months of the season.
