When you are fighting another high level fighter, it's less about the damage you can inflict and more about the damage you can take and still pull the win out. When you are fighting another high level fighter, it's less about the damage you can inflict and more about the damage you can take and still pull the win out. Rousey knows good and well there will be a day she's paid to take a beating, even in a win. All good MMA fighters have to at some point. So it's fairly easy to assume she gave less than 100% knowing good and well she'll be in for an even bigger payday when the rematch happens. You're still making assumptions. HH was more skilled than her other opponents by a very large margin, if she was throwing the fight why would she do it in such an embarrassing fashion? I mean, she basically charged Holly like a bull and looked like a WWE star going against a seasoned fighter. Just because there's a risk she can get the shit kicked out of her, doesn't mean she would allow it to happen on purpose like that.
