We'll ignore your stupidity but there is something there.

When I first starting playing football my hero was number 22 with the Rams, Dick Bass. He was a quick darter.

As a trackster my hero was Bullet Bob Hayes. Who was also number 22 as a footballer. Pigeoned toes and all.

As a bodybuiler I admired the great Cuban Sergio Olivia.

My fav poet was the great Langston Hughes.

Right now on the walls of my Fortress of Solitude, there are pin ups/posters/pictures of...

Muddy Waters
Yohan Blake
Jim Brown
Gale Sayers
John Lee Hooker
Lightnin' Hopkins
Usain Bolt
Jerry Rice
Justin Gatlin
Tyson Gay
Asafa Powell
Howlin' Wolf

My favorite song, is this one....

I always have fun with...."you Googled that"...ha~~~~ For some unknown reason people struggle with...long time fan here.......why I don't know.

I was into the NFL in 1959, when I was 10 years old. I saw Roger Staubach play for Navy, saw O.J.Simpson run track for San Francisco City College. I remembrer when there were no Dallas Cowboys. So if ya pay attention you're going to learn some things.

The old AFL

East

New York Titans
Boston Patriots
Buffalo Bills
Houston Oilers

West

Dallas Texans....KC Chiefs to be.
LA Chargers
Denver Broncos
Oakland Raiders.....who came real close to being called ..Oakland Senors.

Abner Haynes a RB out of North Texas St was the first 'star", he was a Texan. The first "great" player however to come out of the AFL was Charger receiver Lance Alworth.

In 1960 the NFL looked like this.

East

Philly Eagles
Wash Redskins
Cleveland Browns
New York Giants
St. Louis Cardinals
Pittsburgh Steelers

West

GB Packers
Det Lions
Niners
Baltimore Colts
Chicago Bears
LA Rams
Dallas Cowboys.....they would switch to the East in 61

Just think if Hollywood ever put out....The Life and Times of Mohammad The Prophet...telling the true story, that studio would be blown up as would any theaters the movie played in, yep, those freaks are that far gone. The actor who played Mohammad....beheaded.

Anyone here know the true story? There is a belief that he might have suffered from some mental disorder like bipolar.

No single person ever perpurtrated a greater hoax than he did with Islam. A huge pack of lies.

Ok...we'll go with this. When I was little, my neighbors were such over the top Cowboy fans that it made me look for other teams to root for.

For some reason, I liked the Rams, Seahawks, and Bears. So, Pat Haden, Jim Zorn, Largent, Payton...those are the guys I pretended to be.
And the Oilers after that. Earl, Pastorini, Whiteshoes Johnson. Kenny Borroughs.

finally got over the Cowboy thing. About the time that Aikman, Irvin, and Emmit joined.

Ken Burrough a 9.4 cat out of Texas Southern. Billy "White Shoes" Johnson played at a tiny little shool, what he did in that league was amazing.

True or false?

Choo Choo Winters was a big fast black RB for Nebraska way back when. He was going to be the next big thing, he dragged tacklers. So there's Choo Choo out with a white girl, her brother had told her to stay away from black guys, she didn't listen. So her brother and some of his buddies beat Choo Choo up so bad he could never play football again.

Talking music.

I grew up listening to what my parents listened to, as starters. In our house it was Hank Williams, RoY Acuff, Ernest Tubb, Gene Autry. Yep, started out on country music. And to this day it never got any betterr than those I mentioned.

Ernest Tubb was a big fan of the great Jimmie Rodgers the King of Country, here he is in his first record from 1937, you'dmix this with early Bob Wills and those I mentioned.
