Anyone else watch the premiere? I liked it.

I watched it. Doesn't look like it will be a really great show but it was interesting/entertaining enough that I'll keep watching it.

Has potential. Not familiar with any of the actors but I thought the first episode was pretty good.

Same here, I was really entertained by the fight scenes. The first one was amazing.

Several of my friends have said it's great. I've got the replay of the second episode set to record. Need to go see if I can watch the pilot on AMC's website.

Was hoping for more of a Kung Fu feel, but it's been a worthy watch this far.

Eventually the fights become trite and that's when the lack of a serious, somber dramatic arc will catch up. But for now the fights are worth the watch.

Film caliber fight scenes. But a storyline that doesn't look like it will hold up beyond a season, if not at some point during its first season. Kind of like what happened to Spartacus after its first season (at least for me).

From the trailers, I actually expected it to be better. It could desperately use one of its secondary characters to develop into a fan favorite because the lead guy isn't all that charismatic or likable. The most interesting character is the lead villain, the Baron. His son sucks. The boy with the magical powers sucks. The widow has potential but isn't all that interesting yet either. Their casting should have gotten a hotter actress for her daughter. The daughter could have been that one character you tune in for because her story and character is built for a lot of cool shit to happen, inner struggle between loyalty to her mom and perhaps a forbidden love with the boy, deceit, betrayal, coming of age.

Need a few more episodes to see how things develop, but I don't have huge expectations after the first couple episodes.
