I am researching evolution right now, I am completely infatuated and taken by the scientific reasoning behind life on this planet. I have always believed in the theory but with little in-depth knowledge on the subject. I knew the broad theory and its results from scientifc experiments.
I ran across this website and it is not the most abstract thing that you will read, but the idea coinciding with evolution opens splace for opinions.I want to know more, I want to know opinions on this so i can learn. To learn completlely you have to view it not just from your own point of reference but you have to understand the conflicting ideas (hearing both the reasonable and unreasonale ideas that some can create.) and making your own assumptions.

A week late and a dollar short.
"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" Presents
"Evolution Schmevolution: A Daily Show Special Report"
Airing Nightly From September 12-15 At 11:00 P.M.
NEW YORK, September 7, 2005 -- Science vs. Religion. Evolution vs. Creation. It is an age-old battle whose time has come. "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" will gather together all the experts (or at least those who will talk to them), travel to the places that matter in the debate (basic cable budget permitting) and ultimately settle the controversy once and for all. "Evolution Schmevolution: A Daily Show Special Report" will premiere on Monday, September 12 and air nightly at 11:00 p.m. through September 15.
For one full week, "The Daily Show" goes in-depth, around, through and quite possibly under, one of the hottest hot-button issues facing our nation: evolution. It's the accepted theory on the origin of life by an overwhelming majority of the world's biologists, but maybe they're all wrong. What's so great about the scientific method anyway? "Evolution Schmevolution" will explore:
* What other theories are out there?
* Who's on the frontlines of this debate?
* Should your child's curriculum really be decided by experts in their respective fields?
The Emmy and Peabody Award-winning "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" was launched in the summer of 1996. The nightly news satire takes a reality-based look at news, trends, pop culture, current events, politics, sports, entertainment and the media. In each show, Stewart and a team of correspondents, including Stephen Colbert, Rob Corddry, Ed Helms and Samantha Bee, comment on the day's stories employing actual news footage, taped field pieces, in-studio guests and on-the-spot coverage of important news events.
Jon Stewart and Ben Karlin are the executive producers of "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" with Stewart Bailey and Kahane Corn serving as the co-executive producers. The series' head writer is David Javerbaum who is also a supervising producer. Chuck O'Neill is the director.

It's pretty funny when people act blind and you're shoving the proof in there faces.
I understnad people are against this, that is why i posted the post to hear everything that people disagree on and agree on. It is hard to understand the reasoning behind your dislike if you dont explain it.
If you dont give an explanationthan to me all i see iis a statement that is backed up only by the reason of emotions not by denying the facts that are offered to you. if you are religiopius and that is why you disagree with me or what i am trying ot learn remember that evolution can fit into most religious beliefs.

Well, there are probably millions of bacteria forming every night in your toilet, you just don't know about with or without feces.

That is the same thing as evolution. bacteria evolves into new substances by combining with others, what is the difference if you think broader. It is not saying that we do not have a creater, it is just saying that we have built up from the beginning of time by a "Nature" vs. "Nurture" ideology

Theres bacteria growing on your eyelids.
Your point....... Humans would be dead if it weren't for the bacteria in us.

Woo..
I'm ahead, I'm a man
I'm the first mammal to wear pants, yeah
I'm at peace with my lust
I can kill 'cause in God I trust, yeah
It's evolution, baby
I'm at piece, I’m the man
Buying stocks on the day of the crash
On the loose, I'm a truck
All the rolling hills, I’ll flatten’ em out, yeah
It's herd behavior, uh huh
It's evolution, baby
Admire me, admire my home
Admire my song, here's my coat
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
This land is mine, this land is free
I'll do what I want but irresponsibly
It's evolution, baby
I'm a thief, I'm a liar
There's my church, I sing in the choir:
(hallelujah… hallelujah…)
Admire me, admire my home
Admire my song, admire my clothes
'Cause we know, appetite for a nightly feast
Those ignorant Indians got nothin' on me
Nothin', why?
Because, it's evolution, baby!
I am ahead, I am advanced
I am the first mammal to make plans, yeah
I crawled the earth, but now I'm higher
Twenty-ten, watch it go to fire
It's evolution, baby (2X)
Do the evolution
Come on, come on, come on

I beileve in Jesus , yet I can sit through any Science class, and I don't mind talking about evolution, It really doesn't bother me, But go ask an atheist to sit through a 30 minute church service and see what you get.
what is kinda disturbing is how Satan has a firm grip on you right now,
I am researching evolution right now, I am completely infatuated

Frankly, it's because there are a minority out there who actually feel threatened by a God they can't put in their own little box. After all, if the King James Version was good enough for the apostle Paul, then it's good enough for them! And anyone who doesn't believe that can go you-know-where!
The majority of believers don't have a problem with the concept of a God who can create any darn way He wants to. To include using evolution as the mechanism for that creation.

I am not into scientology, or anything like that but personally i believe that we did evolve. Its pretty hard to grasp that god just said let there be man and then poof....Adam appeared....thats pretty far fetched....besides most of the stories in the bible are pretty much made up. Just think about it, its a book that has been translated millions of times over the years by different men. Now you know a story always changes once its been told more than once, it always winds up something completely different by the time it gets back to you.

Actually scientology believes that we come from aliens. I myself am the reincarnation of the third overlord of Blargon 7.
