Came out like a boss after rolling his ankle, a minor injury that would've sidelined Tiago for 2 months. Also played excellent defense on Brow.
Wish I could post this under different circumstances, since tonight was a bad loss (blame the bench), but LMA deserves props.

Eh, everyone was bad-to-average offensively tonight. One of those burn the tape games, and the fuckin' Pelicans are becoming like the Bobcats were to the Lakers. A bad team that inexplicably beats a good team more than they should (Pelicans are now 5-6 vs. the Spurs in the Davis-era).

Kiwi got jealous that the team looked better with MVParker as the first option, while having 30+ assists as a team, so he game planned to go hero mode this game.
KawhISO-centered offense = First round exit, loss to the 1-11 Pels

Tony put us on his back when Manu couldn't hold onto the ball. I love Manu, but he was the reason we lost that series. That and Leonard's free throw. Parker dominated the first three games, injured his hamstring, and still made two of the clutches shots in Spurs history that will never be remembered (like Duncan's shot against LA in 04). He was the best player on the team in 13 (I'll give you Duncan if you want). He carried us the entire playoffs that year. You tend to forget that.

I was talking about '14 Game 5 against the Heatles, dumbnuts. Beautiful game is killing it all night and he decides to put his hero cape on in the 4th in a weak attempt to steal the FMVP from Kawhi.
As far as '13 goes, one shot in the final two minutes doesn't change the fact that he played like shit for the large majority of the last two games.
Why do you say the Spurs can't replicate the ball movement of '14?
Because that was perfect, inspired basketball. It's not sustainable. Even if the ball movement is replicated, role players hitting their shots at the rate they were hitting them during that '14 run isn't sustainable. The performance of role players fluctuates that's why every team needs stars that can bring it consistently.

The faster he does anything offensively, the better he is. Quick turnaround, maximum 1 or 2 dribbles in the post, no hesitation on the jumpshot - he is definitely getting into better shape as well.

I positively predicted LMA's All Star selection would be a massive confidence booster for him. His last 4 games are
25 pts, 10 reb, 5 ast
15pts on 7-11 shooting in just 26 minutes in the Cleveland debacle where he got off to a hot start offensively but I think he had 3 fouls in the first quarter.
28pts, 4 reb, 5 blocks
36pts, 6 reb, 3blocks
4 straight games shooting 60% or better
8 blocks in the last 2 games
When was the last time another Spur big put up those numbers in a 4 game span? The real LMA is stepping up which is huge for the good guys and gives us one of the best 1-2 punches in the NBA. Hope this is the start of something big leading up the playoffs!

More than likely, but that's more to do with the way his development went. Warriors have a pretty solid training staff while the Pelicans are inept.
Best PF in the game is Griffin closely followed by Raymond Green.
Crofl.
Where have these quick, decisive moves been all season? :lol
I feel like he has been giving the Spurs 16 per game on put-backs, high-low plays with Timmy and the occasional good spurt. These last few games he has been aggressive like Portland Aldridge and that is a good thing. His touch seems to be improving, he is using his left hand more and that alley-oop from Manu against the Pelicans showed pretty good athleticism.
Just need to see it against Golden State, OKC and Cleveland now :tu
