Are there any Giants fans on here, tbh? I haven't seen any :(

All I say is, if you guys do indeed win the division, stun the Panthers and make the Super Bowl, please beat the cocky Patriots! :hat

If you're smart,,,you take the seahawks to make the superbowl at great odds right now. If Seattle makes the playoffs, they will be the one team no one wants to face,,,,

:lol the Giants are last in the NFL in sacks compared to the 2007 Giants and 2011 Giants teams that were 1st and 3rd in sacks, respectively. The Patriots also no longer have the biggest playoff cancer in the history of offensive linemen (Logan Mankins) who consistently shat the bed against the Giants. I'm sure everyone is caught up on the moral victory NY got against New England a few weeks ago when they couldn't win at home against practice squad offensive linemen but there's nothing scary about this Giants team.

patfans could laugh it off, but there is literally no team in NFL history (85 bears, 00 ravens, any of the niners teams) that they'd fear in a superbowl more than Eli

Eli isn't the reason they lost either superbowl, both games were low scoring games with the Pats' offense totally out of rhythm thanks to an elite pass rush. The Giants defense isn't intimidating the way it used to be.

I know the rest of the country will always pitch a tent at the thought of Eli Manning playing New England but it's not the same team anymore.

Giants pass rush stinks because JPP has been out virtually all year thus far. The secondary is actually pretty good despite the stinker in New Orleans. Hope JPP's mangled strong hand isn't the difference between a Brady sack and Brady being able to flip it to a receiver for a clutch first down, though.

Difference is this year Eli is better and has better receivers and offense. So Giants win, 34–31 instead of 17–14 or 21–17, that's all.

Giants are a good team, but their coaching and defense are their achilles heel. Eli seriously should be a candidate for MVP, but Coughlin calls plays way too conservatively these days, and that defense can't stop a tissue when the game matters most.

I can see a dark horse come out of the AFC,,,like the Ravens did a few years back. Pats are prime for a letdown in the playoffs with all their injuries. They are winning with smoke and mirrors right now,,,a credit to how great Brady and Belichek are but I wouldn't be surprised at all if they don't make the Super Bowl.

Especially since you still have Dallas twice on your schedule... if you win both of those, I think you win the division.

Barely. But if they know what's best for them, they should lose out.

If you win the home game against Dallas next week, that pretty much knocks Dallas out (for real this time) and would give you a 3–1 division record with two (road) division games left to play. Win one of those remaining two and you'll likely win the division going away.

Yes. Giants have three division losses while the Eagles and Cowboys have two each. Redskins only have one. Eagles will get crushed in New England next week while the Giants face a very interesting subway game (where they're the designated home team but there's going to be lots of fans from both aisles this time because the Jets are certainly in play for an AFC playoff birth). Eagles also still have the Cardinals on their schedule.

I've yet to see anything from them to indicate that they know what's best for them. I'm just praying they don't pick up Johnny Football when he's waived by the Browns.

I'll take the playoffs for a team that has looked terrible the last two season, and for a team that is rebuilding with one of the best GM's who built those super bowl Niners and Seahawks teams.

If the Redskins win next Monday, and win 2 out of 3 against the Bears, Bill and Eagles we will be in great shape that the last game against the Cowboys might not even matter . I'm more afraid of the Giants. Think the Giants might win their next two games, but have two tough games against the Panthers and Vikings after that. Eagles still have Patriots, Bills and Cardinals.

Eagles will lose to Pats and Cardinals but might win out other than that (Giants week 17?)

Giants will lose to Panthers and Vikings and might lose to the Jets next week in a neutral setting against a team fighting for a wild card in the AFC. (Eagles week 17?)

Cowboys... jesus. Redskins play them twice which is a huge gift.

Redskins have by far the easiest schedule partially by virtue of being the last place team last year. Bears still might be fighting for wild card, though, so who knows.

Only if he's better than anything they can get in the draft. Not sure that's the case. If that O line can protect Romo's corpse, they can protect a rookie.

If the Cowboys can beat the Redskins both times... according to my math, the Eagles can win the division provided they win week 17 in New York. Else, it'll depend on how many games New York loses.

Stupid ass decision to go for it on 4th & goal from the 4 yard line. You HAVE to take the points there. Take the points and you win the game. Offense and defense for NYG were both good today until after Eli's game changing pick in the redzone midway through the 4th after the Giants had engineered a 9 minute, 17 play drive.
