I appreciated him a lot, he is a really high BBIQ player, and he had a lot of chemistry with our guys, so much so that even with LMA, the SL with Tiago healthy was still great offensively in comparison to what we see right now. But, he could not stay healthy through a season.

As much as we needed a rim protector in the bench and many questioned whether we should or should not have traded Diaw instead, Diaw has been an ironman two seasons in a row, played in the summer, played B2B, and really showed up in big games in the playoffs the past couple of seasons.

Tiago is too brittle, unfortunately. Early in the season, he's already injured, and he's playing in the bench for ATL and less minutes.

Tiago was epic in the 2013-2014 season and stayed healthy and produced. But I kinda don't blame PATFO for trading him. 2015 schedule was very tough with him injured all season long. That said I miss him and wish him the best. But it's looking like another smart move: George Hill, Tiago, and Marco basically netted the Spurs Larmarcus Aldridge and Kawhi Leonard. I'll take that 100/100 times.

I'm guessing that 32 game losing streak is not going to last much longer. I think the Spurs should perform better than expected against the Warriors and better than the rest of the league. But I suspect they might sneak one from the Spurs in SA this season the way Pop treats regular season games and with how well they've been playing. I also wouldn't be surprised if the Spurs take one on the Warriors home court this regular season.
