After KB retires, who's the next guy to drama it up in the media any time some other person/team is getting media coverage? Right now the GSW are the sweethearts of the league, it's their moment. Someone decided it was his moment instead. He does that any time someone else is getting covered and he's not. After this season though, sure he's going to be doing the LA Housewives drama thing in the media, but who in the league will be the one? Will it be a coach (Think Harriet Beecher Stowe), an owner (think Jaws) or perhaps Frogger will be left on his own.

What?

No ones going to fill Kobe's shoes in terms of douchiness. Its not possible. I mean who else would release a video like this to announce theyre returning from an injury?

Natural successor would be D'Bust. He seems to have all the building blocks in terms of faggotry and self aggrandizement. He just sucks at basketball.

If e sucks he won't get the attention that simple. Kobe was talented.

DeMarcus Cousins is already there, but his teams don't win enough for people to care...

I haven't seen anyone mentioned yet that comes close to Carmelo Anthony or LeBron James.

I liked Durant much more when he wasn't into all his victim schtick.

I know a lot of players do it, but announcing your retirement this early in the season is bullshit imo. It seems like a PR move for the Lakers. You have to wonder what Kobe actually signed up for when he signed that document. Knowing he only has a HS education, maybe he cannot read.

I wouldn't be surprised if Kobe changes his mind after he has a couple decent games.

Melo's dead; and LBJ has how many good years left?

I think LBJ is very arrogant; but he's better at masking it than Kobe ever was.

You have to wonder who will be the NBA talking point now. Lebron has always been a talking point, but who will step up to take the spotlight off the actual game play of the NBA?

Perhaps, you're speaking of Collin Cowherd talking point. He says the NBA does best when there's a villain; and LBJ filled that role.

Kobe went to business school recently. I am not sure if he finished it.

Come on Stephen A did not deserve it? Is he an asshole towards teammates or a narcissist? Why should he act like some PR robot?
