It's the fundamentalist Christians who work very hard to impose their Biblical ethics and morals on EVERYBODY, and try to force the Bible bullshit into public education, into law.
The collection of grifter, fundamentalist pastors, including "Christian" media, are very well financed, organized, under Old Testament craziness.
Some Christians enforce the Bible by discrimating against, percecuting, brutalizing, sometimes killing, people they decide, as infallible, self-righteous, hateful judges, are sinners.

San Bernardino shooters had been radicalized 'for some time,' went to shooting ranges before attack
The FBI said Monday that the San Bernardino shooters had been radicalized "for some time," but investigators are still trying to determine whether they had links to foreign terror organizations.
Officials also said Syed Rizwan Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, had gone to gun ranges in the Los Angeles area in the days before Wednesday's massacre, which killed 14 people and injured 21.
Federal investigators did not know how the couple had become radicalized, said David Bowdich, assistant director in charge of the FBI's Los Angeles office.
"Remember, oftentimes it's on the internet," he cautioned.

He is on the record for domestic violence; being an abusive alcoholic. So we are immediately going to believe him and see if it sticks? That's how knee jerk, bad journalism works. You look into the sources to make sure there is no reason for them to lie.
So this has what to do with US mainstream journalism? Oh I get it. Good journalism actually loses readers who are skeptical (but not paranoid) when the paper jumps the gun and screws up. You want your info now.
I will give you two places to get now info with little to zero analysis or bad analysis that are in the US, Fox and CNN. The TV sites are not interested in tired old news that takes time to get the facts straight. CNN might be as they do very repetitive stuff actually. 6 months from now you will probably get some excellent stuff on all this.
But you won't read it.

True that what i meant by both the fathers saying the son has been radicalized for a long time and the search of the mothers car turning up all kinds of incriminating chit, along with some news (more to come) that she belonged to a fringe wacko group (not direct ISIS like the son and daughter in law but an ISIS sympathizing group).....
Ya, not that those two were planned collaboration, but rather that both lead to the same conclusion. Both Mom and Pop knew son was radicalized. The dad admittedly does, I'm not buying his defense liarwyers deflection that the medication did the talking. The mother of Farook Jr, i think it will come out she was in on the whole damn thing. Two bedrooms with all kinds of sinister chit coming in and out but she knows nothing? Rrright.
Did they ever talk about it with each other (Mom and Pop)? I dunno. As you stated, reports are the Dad may have beaten the Mom so maybe they were on the outs.

The FBI (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/whitehouse/james-b.-comey.htm) is investigating whether the marriage between the San Bernardino killers was a cover for long-planned jihad, as other questions have been raised about another suspect nuptial and the potential abuse of the government’s visa program.
Asked today by lawmakers if the marriage between Syed Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik, who together killed 14 people at an office holiday party last week, could have been arranged by a terror group or was simply a meeting of radical minds, FBI Director James Comey said, “I don’t know the answer to that… It would be a very, very important thing to know.”
Farook and Malik’s marriage isn’t the only one garnering suspicion. In the midst of the investigation into Farook’s family, new details have emerged about the use and possible abuse of the government marriage citizenship program involving Enrique Marquez, the man who officials told ABC News originally bought two of the weapons used in the San Bernardino attack.
Just the day before the armed assault on a room of defenseless office workers, Marquez was lamenting to a friend about his troubled "marriage."
“There's always that one person that goes further to make the other one happy,” Marquez said then, according to his friend Viviana Ramirez. “He says it was more like codependency.”
Among the many peculiar aspects in the life of 24-year-old Marquez -- beyond the punk rock lover's sporadic appearances at a local mosque, his apparent inability to hold down a job and his possible decision to purchase assault rifles for a man who apparently didn’t want his name on a gun registry -- was Marquez’s marriage to Mariya Chernykh.
Chernykh, 25, moved from Russia to the United States in 2009, joining her sister Tatiana, who is married to Syed Raheel Farook, the brother of San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwan Farook. California man Vram Kupelian said he dated Chernykh for more than a year around the time she moved to the U.S. Both worked at the Montebello Mall – Chernykh sold cell phone cases at kiosks, a business owned by Tatiana, according to state records.
Kupelian said Chernykh initially came to U.S. to visit her sister, but decided to stay because she liked living in America.
Kupelian said Chernykh initially came to U.S. to visit her sister, but decided to stay because she liked living in America.
How Chernykh was introduced to Marquez is unclear, but when Chernykh submitted a citizenship application after she and Marquez signed their marriage license, it was Syed Raheel Farook who stepped in and vouched for Marquez, saying he would have the financial means to support his new wife.
Other than the marriage certificate Marquez and Chernykh signed on Nov. 29, 2014, however, there is very little evidence that the two were a real married couple, according to friends, public records, and a review of social media accounts.
Chernykh shared an address not with Marquez, but with another man, Oscar Romero, according to public records. Chernykh and Romero posed frequently in photos together with a baby girl, whom they refer to as their daughter, until just two months before Chernykh’s marriage to Marquez when all mention of Oscar Romero disappears from Chernykh’s page. Chernykh took Romero’s name, calling herself Maria Romero on Russian social media sites, even after the marriage. And Romero referred to her as his wife on one of his social media accounts. Chernykh’s social media page was taken down after ABC News reached out for comment for this report.
Michael G. Scott, a friend of Marquez’s from the local punk rock scene, told ABC News that Marquez told him he was married, but Scott never met the wife. “It was like an arranged marriage,” Scott said.
Viviana Ramirez told ABC News that Marquez had said he met Chernykh through a friend, but beyond that, he really wouldn’t talk about the marriage. “Whenever he would talk about it, he would look sad,” Ramirez said. “He never really talked about her or brought her around, but it just didn’t seem like it was going in a positive direction.”
Bernard Wolfsdorf, an immigration lawyer based out of Los Angeles, said the unusual circumstances surrounding Chernykh’s marriage to Marquez would likely attract the interest of immigration authorities.
“Most of these officers are really good at spotting fake marriages,” Wolfsdorf said.
Wolfsdorf said authorities would be looking for evidence of shared bank accounts and joint finances between Chernykh and Marquez, and at online evidence that the two were actually together.
“They like to see photographs and pictures, ‘Here we are going on holiday together; Here we are at my mother-in-law’s house for Thanksgiving, Christmas,’” he said.
Friends of Marquez said they believe that is a relationship he was craving, but did not have.
“The last time I heard from him was Tuesday night I believe,” Ramirez said, referring to the night before Farook and Malik’s attack. “He messaged me… about relationships. How one person loves the other one more than -- you know, it's more one-sided than them together. Does that make sense?”
Another friend, who declined to be identified, told ABC News that Marquez seemed to “genuinely care about her and her child.”
As for the killer couple themselves, Farook and Malik were married in the eyes of U.S. law in August 2014 after Malik entered the U.S. on a so-called fiancé visa a month before, but international officials and family friends indicated they could have been married abroad previously. Comey said earlier in his testimony that the two could have been radicalized, separately or together, by the end of 2013. A family friend of Malik in Pakistan previously told ABC News the couple met through family members as early as 2009, but an attorney for Farook’s family has said the couple found each other online and only met in 2013.
Both Cherynykh sisters and Romero did not respond to request for comment left on voicemail and through social media.

And it might have absolutely nothing to do with the shootings. We are given a glimpse into possible blind alleyways investigators have to deal with. For me, this highlights what is so difficult about the public wanting quick answers, and the investigation taking time. By the time we know the full story this might no longer be news of interest, replaced by another "mass" shooting or another plane gone missing.
It is weird though.

Ted Cruz Won’t Stop Lying About the San Bernardino Attack
The Texas senator keeps blaming President Obama for failing to heed a warning that didn’t even occur before the attack
On Dec. 4, two days after a husband and wife shot 14 people to death in San Bernardino, California, Sen. Ted Cruz spoke at a gun shop and shooting range in Iowa. Cruz staged the event to promote gun rights and to criticize President Obama for failing to prevent the attack.
He told the crowd (http://www.msnbc.com/shift/watch/live-cruz-on-gun-rights-at-shooting-range-579709507730):
We know that the man flew to Saudi Arabia. We know that he came in contact apparently with a number of individuals on the terror watch list. We know that the woman was apparently communicating [on] social media with ISIS terrorists, pledging her allegiance to ISIS. Let me ask a question: Why on earth did the Obama administration not know this ahead of time, and stop them before they carried out this terror attack?
I’ll tell you why: because the so-called “communication” with ISIS wasn’t communication, and it didn’t occur until the attack was underway.
Cruz has made a career of misrepresenting evidence, circumstances, statements, and people. This is a particularly egregious case. Let’s start with his insinuation that Obama should have anticipated the attack based on communications between the husband, Syed Farook, and people on the terror watch list. FBI Director James Comey, who was originally appointed to be deputy attorney general by President George W. Bush—and was later confirmed as FBI director with Cruz’s support (http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_call_vote_cfm.cfm?congress=113&session=1&vote=00188)—discredited that theory in a press conference (https://www.fbi.gov/news/news_blog/transcript-briefing-by-attorney-general-loretta-lynch-and-fbi-director-james-b.-comey-on-the-san-bernardino-shootings) on Dec. 4:

The couple who launched the terror attack in San Bernardino were both radicalized before they met online and had some confirmed connection to ISIS, the director of the FBI revealed today.
FBI Director James Comey revealed the new information about the couple, who were killed by police following the deadly shooting, during testimony on Capitol Hill.

Blockbuster Allegation: DHS, State Halted Investigation Into Islamist Group Linked To San Bernardino Terrorists (http://thefederalist.com/2015/12/10/dhs-state-halted-investigation-into-islamist-group-linked-to-san-bernardino-terrorists/)
Customs and Border Patrol analyst Phil Haney tracked members of the Islamist Deobandi movement with which Sayed Farook and his wife, Tashfeen Malik, were affiliated. But the Department of Homeland Security deleted the records, then disciplined and retaliated against him when he blew the whistle, he says.
Haney said he worked in Passenger Analysis Units at the Department of Homeland Security in Atlanta and at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s National Targeting Center, where he performed research into people and groups that might be linked to terrorism. He identified members of al-Huda (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Huda_Institute) and Tablighi Jamaat (https://www.stratfor.com/weekly/tablighi_jamaat_indirect_line_terrorism), subgroups of the Deobandi Movement, a century-old fundamentalist Islamic group originating in Pakistan, as they traveled into and out of the United States. An association with Tablighi Jamaat has been documented by the French in an estimated 80% of terrorism cases (http://bit.ly/1OkqJxc). Dar Al Uloom Mosque, frequented by Sayed Farook, is linked with the Deobandi Movement. Tashfeen Malik studied with Al-Huda in Pakistan.
Haney was given an agency award for his work identifying potential terrorists and he was asked to become part of the National Targeting Center, which works to connect the dots between radical figures and groups, he said. After more than six months tracking the Deobandi movement, Homeland Security halted the investigation at the urging of the State Department’s Office of Civil Rights (http://www.state.gov/s/ocr/), Haney said.
The agencies asserted that since the Islamist groups in question were not Specially Designated Terrorist Organizations (http://www.state.gov/j/ct/list/), tracking individuals related to these groups was a violation of the their civil liberties, according to Haney. “The administration was more concerned about the civil rights and liberties of foreign Islamic groups with terrorist ties than the safety and security of Americans,” Haney said. He met with the DHS Inspector General in 2013, in coordination with several Members of Congress. DHS and the Justice Department then subjected him to investigations, none of which showed wrongdoing, he said. In September 2014, they sequestered him, revoked his access to the database and revoked his security clearance.
In a televised interview (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bClwr4osp50&feature=youtu.be) with Megyn Kelly of Fox News, Haney said that if he’d been allowed to continue his investigation, Malik’s visa application would have been flagged for greater scrutiny.

Why on earth did the Obama administration not know this ahead of time, and stop them before they carried out this terror attack?
Too worried about offending the civil rights of people that aren't even citizens tbh. The deaths in San Bernardino fall squarely at your saviors feet.
"Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson resisted calls last year to allow immigration agents to review visa applicants’ social media activity because of fear of “bad public relations," according to a former agency official.
According to John Cohen, a former DHS under secretary, the failure "was primarily a question of optics", adding that "there were concerns from a privacy and civil liberties perspective that while this was not illegal, that it would be viewed negatively if it was disclosed publicly."

Seems like the safety of American citizens falls way below the sensitivities of foreign nationals. Political correctness is gonna kill us - when is this government going to put us citizens first - these people have no civil liberties, no right to be here. To refuse to review their social media activity knowing that ISIS uses social media to recruit is just insane and stupid.

There's no way terrorism defenses can perfectly stop every new type of attack. All you can do is make best effort, which was NOT ordered in 2001 by the Repugs.

A founding member of Department of Homeland Security says a database he spent years creating could have helped stop the San Bernardino terror attack, before it was destroyed by federal officials.
Phil Haney, who investigated terror groups in the wake of 9/11, claims he investigated two groups with links to terror killers Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik as far back as 2012.
If he had been allowed to continue his probe, he claims, it would have flagged the pair to the security services, and may have stopped them killing 14 people and injuring 21 in California last week.
However, he says government civil rights officials destroyed the information he collected over fears he was unfairly profiling Muslims, investigated him, and then stripped him of his security clearance.
Speaking with Fox News (http://insider.foxnews.com/2015/12/10/whistleblower-says-he-could-have-prevented-ca-attack-if-government-didnt-cut-funding) on Thursday night, Haney explained that in the early 2000s he had been working in a passenger analysis unit at the Department of Homeland Security in Atlanta.
As part of his job, he was expected to investigate individuals and organizations with potential links to terrorism, so security services could monitor their movements into and out of the U.S.
Haney explained that he began investigating dozens of individuals with links to a fundamentalist Pakistani group called the Deobandi Movement, and its sub-groups al-Huda and Tablighi Jamaat.
He claims the groups were using the visa waiver program to move suspected radicalized individuals in and out of the U.S. and so he began tracking them, entering their details into a DHS database.
Eventually, his efforts were picked up by the National Targeting Center, an umbrella organization within the US Customs and Border Protection, and he was asked to work for them instead - focusing specifically on Deobandi, al-Huda and Tablighi Jamaat.
Haney says that, during the course of his investigation, he was given an award for identifying more than 300 potential terrorists with links to the groups.
During the course of his probe, Haney raised a red flag over the Darul Uloom Mosque in Riverside, California, as it was one of a several mosques worldwide operating under the umbrella of Deobandi.
Syed Farook later attended the same mosque, which has now been identified in FBI investigations following the San Bernardino killings.
Meanwhile, Farook's wife was known to associate with the al-Huda group in Pakistan, which was also flagged by Haney, he claims.
Haney believes that, if his program had been allowed to continue, both Farook and Malik would 'very plausibly' have been flagged to the security services over their connections to these organizations.
He told Fox: 'Either Syed would have been put on the no-fly list because of his association with that mosque, and or the K-1 visa that his wife was given may have been denied because of his affiliation with a known organization.'
However, in 2012, Haney says that his team was paid a visit by the Department of State and its own Civil Liberties Civil Rights Division.
Haney says officials accused of unfairly profiling Muslims because Tablighi Jamaat, the sub-group of Deobandi, was not on a list of specially designated terrorist organizations.
Haney says he left the national center shortly afterwards and went back to Atlanta, and afterwards he found out the program he was working on had been shut down.
Not only that, but large parts of the database that he had worked for years to assemble - 67 records in total - were removed from the security service databases, he claims.
The Department of Homeland Security accused Haney of having 'several large holes' in his story this evening, but said it was prevented from saying anything else because of privacy laws.
Haney's allegations came as Representative Matt Salmon, a Republican from Arizona, accused intelligence services of 'failure' for not picking up Farook or Malik before they launched their attack on the Inland Regional Center on December 2.
In 2012 a group of suspected terror plotters were arrested in California, along with Sohiel Kabir, a terror recruiter and mastermind of the plot, located in Afghanistan.
CNN reported that two security sources confirmed Farook had links to Kabir.
According to an unnamed Reuters security source, Farook and Malik’s names likely arose during an earlier FBI investigation but didn’t raise any flags - though it is unclear if this was related to the 2012 arrests.

The New York Times reported on Sunday that U.S. immigration officials conducted three background checks on Malik when she emigrated from Pakistan but allegedly did not uncover social media postings in which she said she supported violent jihad and wanted to be a part of it.

The State Department today said that “obviously things went wrong” in the visa background check for one of the San Bernardino shooters -- comments that came in the wake of an ABC News report that said officials by policy generally do not check social media postings of applicants due to civil liberties concerns and therefore would not have seen purported evidence of Tashfeen Malik’s radicalization online.
“It’s difficult to say exactly what [went wrong] and how, but for an individual to be able to come into this country – one who the FBI has maintained had terrorist tendencies or affiliations or sympathies at least for a couple years, and then to propagate an attack like that on our own soil, obviously, I think it’s safe to say there’s going to be lessons learned here,” State Department spokesperson John Kirby told reporters.
Fearing a civil liberties backlash and "bad public relations" for the Obama administration, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson refused in early 2014 to end the secret U.S. policy that prohibited immigration officials from reviewing the social media messages of all foreign citizens applying for U.S. visas, according to a former senior department official.
"During that time period immigration officials were not allowed to use or review social media as part of the screening process," John Cohen, a former acting under-secretary at DHS for intelligence and analysis. Cohen is now a national security consultant for ABC News.
One current and one former senior counter-terrorism official confirmed Cohen's account about the refusal of DHS to change its policy about the public social media posts of all foreign applicants.
A spokesperson for the DHS, Marsha Catron, told ABC News that months after Cohen left, in the fall of 2014, the Department began three pilot programs to include social media in vetting, but current officials say that it is still not a widespread policy. A review of the broader policy is already underway, the DHS said.
The revelation comes as members of Congress question why U.S. officials failed to review the social media posts of San Bernardino terrorist Tashfeen Malik. She received a U.S. visa in May 2014, despite what the FBI said were extensive social media messages about jihad and martyrdom.
Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., demanded Sunday that the U.S. immediately initiate a program that would check the social media sites of those admitted on visas."
"Had they checked out Tashfeen Malik," the senator said, "maybe those people in San Bernardino would be alive."
Former DHS under-secretary Cohen said he and others pressed hard for just such a policy change in 2014 that would allow a review of publicly-posted social media messages as terror group followers increasingly used Twitter and Facebook to show their allegiance to a variety of jihadist groups.
Cohen said officials from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/uscis.htm)) and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) both pressed for a change in policy.
"Immigration, security, law enforcement officials recognized at the time that it was important to more extensively review public social media postings because they offered potential insights into whether somebody was an extremist or potentially connected to a terrorist organization or a supporter of the movement," said Cohen, who left DHS in June 2014.
Cohen said the issue reached a head at a heated 2014 meeting chaired by Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, other top deputies and representatives of the DHS Office of Civil Liberties and the Office of Privacy.
"The primary concern was that it would be viewed negatively if it was disclosed publicly and there were concerns that it would be embarrassing," Cohen said in an interview broadcast on "Good Morning America (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/entertainment/tv/good-morning-america.htm)" today.
Cohen said he and others were deeply disappointed that the senior leadership would not approve a review of what were publicly-posted online messages.
"There is no excuse for not using every resource at our disposal to fully vet individuals before they come to the United States," Cohen said.
A former senior counter-terrorism official, who participated in the 2014 discussion, said, "Why the State Department and Homeland Security Department have not leveraged the power of social media is beyond me."
"They felt looking at public postings [of foreign U.S. visa applicants] was an invasion of their privacy," the official told ABC News. "The arguments being made were, and are still, in bad faith."
Cohen said the disclosures by Edward Snowden (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/us/edward-snowden.htm) about National Security Agency (http://abcnews.go.com/topics/news/issues/nsa-surveillance-program.htm) (NSA) surveillance policies fed concern of bad public relations that would affect the U.S. government's standing with civil rights groups and European allies.
"It was primarily a question of optics," said Cohen. "There were concerns from a privacy and civil liberties perspective that while this was not illegal, that it would be viewed negatively if it was disclosed publicly."
Cohen said he and others were deeply troubled by the decision.
"If we don't look and don't review, we don't know," he said.
Officials said that because Malik used a pseudonym in her online messages, it is not clear that her support for terror groups would have become known even if the U.S. conducted a full review of her online traffic.
DHS's Catron told ABC News the Department is "actively considering additional ways to incorporate the use of social media review in its various vetting programs," while keeping an eye on privacy concerns.
"The Department will continue to ensure that any use of social media in its vetting program is consistent with current law and appropriately takes into account civil rights and civil liberties and privacy protections," Catron said.
State Department records show that in 2014 the U.S. government issued nearly 10 million nonimmigrant visas, over 40,000 of which were K-1 fiancé visas like the one Malik used to enter the country.

Reality Check: Cruz, Fiorina and Huckabee claim social media checks were prohibited or willfully ignored in visa cases
By Laura Koran, CNN
Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas: "It's not a lack of competence that is preventing the Obama administration from stopping these attacks. It is political correctness. We didn't monitor the Facebook posting of the female San Bernardino terrorist because the Obama DHS thought it would be inappropriate. She made a public call to jihad and they didn't target it."
Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina: "The bureaucratic processes that have been in place since 9/11 are inadequate, as well. What do we now know? That DHS vets people by going into databases of known or suspected terrorists. And yet, we also know that ISIS is recruiting who are not in those databases. So of course, we're going to miss them. And then we now learn that DHS says, "No, we can't check their social media." For heaven's sake, every parent in America is checking social media and every employer is as well. The government can't do it? The bureaucratic procedures are so far behind."
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee: "I just want to make sure that everything we use is going to be effective. We're spending billions of dollars, let's make sure it's effective. Let's use every tool, but let's also check out the Facebook posts, let's look at Twitter accounts. My gosh, we were told we couldn't do it because it might invade somebody's privacy. This lady who came over here and shot up San Bernardino was posting things on Facebook, yet, we were restricted from looking."
CNN Reality Check Team: There is no State Department policy prohibiting social media checks by consular officers, who interview prospective visa recipients and make the final call on whether they qualify for a visa, State Department spokesman John Kirby told reporters Monday.
These consular officers are free to check any and all publicly available information on an applicant, including their social media postings.
That said, they aren't required to do so with every applicant.
The Department of Homeland Security -- which runs background checks on foreign applicants as part of the interagency process -- also allows social media checks, but again, they aren't required. In fact, in recent months the United States has begun to take steps to review social media postings of visa applicants from certain countries.
The value of these social media searches is limited, since terrorist sympathizers can conceal their identities online or use privacy settings to hide their posts.
In fact, San Bernardino shooter Tashfeen Malik obscured her identity when making pro-jihad comments on social media sites and used enhanced security settings, U.S. law enforcement officials told CNN this week.
Some of Malik's postings were only visible to a small group of friends, which runs in direct contrast to Cruz's suggestion that Malik made the statements publicly.
Verdict: False

Evidence links mosque to San Bernardino terrorist attack
The cleric acting as spokesman for the San Bernardino mosque where terrorist Syed Rizwan Farook worshipped claims he barely knew Farook and didn’t know his terrorist wife at all. But phone records and other evidence uncovered by federal investigators cast doubt on his story.
The FBI has questioned the cleric, Roshan Zamir Abbassi, about his phone communications with Farook — including a flurry of at least 38 messages over a two-week span in June, coinciding with the deadly Muslim terrorist attack on two military sites in Chattanooga, Tenn.
Abbassi, a Pakistani, insists he had nothing to do with the shooting at a San Bernardino County government building five miles from the mosque. While he confirms the text messages with Farook, he claims they were merely discussing food donations for his Dar-al-Uloom al-Islamiya of America mosque.
Abbassi maintained at a press conference that he didn’t know Farook any better than he knew the reporters in the room. But members of the mosque say Farook was a fixture there. He had been coming to pray and study at least three times a week for two years. In fact, he memorized the Koran there, something you cannot do without learning Arabic, a subject Abbassi teaches.

Malik joined her husband in shooting 35 of his government co-workers at a Christmas party.
“No one knows anything about his wife,” assistant imam Mahmood Nadvi agreed. “She never came to prayer.”
But longtime mosque member Gasser Shehata, who claimed to have prayed “shoulder to shoulder” with Farook, said Dar-al-Uloom prepared a chicken-and-rice dinner to celebrate the couple’s wedding last year. Reportedly, hundreds of congregants attended the walima reception, including the mosque leadership.
Asked if Farook was radicalized at the mosque, Abbassi snapped, “Never.” He said the mosque teaches only peace, insisting no one has even an “extremist idea.”
“In Islam,” he said, “we are against innocent killing.”
Abbassi recently posted a message on Facebook condemning the United States and other Western nations for their Mideast policies, arguing they are equally guilty of violence to achieve political and religious goals. His mosque’s Web page features a video claiming that the San Bernardino shooting was carried out by the US government in a “false flag conspiracy,” and that Farook and Malik were “patsies” assassinated “by government-sponsored perpetrators.”
Another person of interest is Abbassi’s brother, Mohammad Sabir Abbassi, a Muslim activist who serves as a trustee and English teacher at the San Diego mosque once headed by the late al Qaeda cleric Anwar al-Awlaki.
FBI Agent Joel Anderson said in court filings that Farook indicated he was a big fan of Awlaki and listened to a series of sermons about jihad and martyrdom called “The Hereafter.”
In his filing, Anderson says Farook studied the ultra-orthodox Islamic sect Tablighi Jamaat. US officials say the cult, with 50,000 members, is rife with jihadists, and jihadi groomers are recruiting at mosques in at least 10 states.
“We have significant presence of Tablighi Jamaat in the United States,” said Assistant FBI Director Michael Heimbach, “and we have found that al Qaeda used them for recruiting.”
Homeland Security Department veteran Philip Haney said Dar-al-Uloom was among the mosques his agency was investigating as part of a probe of the Tablighi movement.
“Individuals who were already in the case in 2012 went to that mosque,” Haney claimed in a Fox News interview.
He said he ID’d some 300 jihadists and terrorists tied to the movement in the United States before the Obama regime pulled the plug on the investigation in 2012. Known Tablighi alumni include the Lackwanna Six, the American Taliban John Walker Lindh, shoe bomber Richard Reid, dirty bomber José Padilla and would-be Brooklyn Bridge bomber Iyman Faris.
“We have nothing to hide,” Roshan Abbassi asserted.
Investigators shouldn’t take his word for it.

expensive training and sophisticated behavioral profiling didn't work:
San Bernardino is ground zero for the bunkum industry that sells "behavioral detection" courses to law enforcement, the place where the most cops and government employees are taught to spot "lone wolf" "active shooters" before they snap -- but none of Syed Rizwan Farook's expensively trained co-workers noticed that he and his wife Tashfeen Malik were about to go on a shooting spree.
The behavioral detection training industry insists that, despite numerous rigorous studies that debunk their methodologies, their stuff works, provided operatives are correctly trained.
Southern California's local governments spend millions on contracts with modern witchdoctors to help them spot "bad guys" in advance.
One of the companies hired by InfraGard to conduct counterterrorism training is CT Watch, headed by Roque “Rocky” Wicker, who also holds an executive leadership position with the Los Angeles InfraGard chapter. Employees of CT Watch have taught seminars, such as “Threat of ISIS and radicalization in the homeland.”
“The indicators work,” Wicker told The Intercept in an interview. “Behavior indicators work. You just need to train the right people.”
If Wicker is right, then the dozens of trainings held in California over the past year failed to train the right people to spot San Bernardino shooter Farook, who was a state employee and would have interacted with other state officials on a daily basis, or his friend Enrique Marquez, who was indicted Wednesday on charges related to his role in plotting with Farook to carry out attacks in 2011 and 2012.

There are differences, of course, between death by terrorism and death by other causes. Driving a car carries with it a set of inevitable risks. Going to a concert or eating at a restaurant should not. Still, the risks of falling prey to terrorism are nevertheless very small for most Americans. Terrorists have forced us to accept that any activity associated with living in a free society now carries with it a finite, and microscopically small, chance of tragic horror. Still, it’s up to us to choose how to react to this minuscule possibility.http://www.newyorker.com/news/news-desk/thinking-rationally-about-terror

The U.S. has Gone F&*%ing Mad
On December 2, 2015, an absolute tragedy occurred. 14 Americans were killed and 22 were seriously injured in a mass shooting in San Bernardino.
Which of the following would you attribute responsibility for what happened:
