Timmy boy just can't do what Kobe can do....:toast sure his team is better than Kobes and he has a better coach but the day Tim Duncan can score 30 points in a game is the day the earth will stand still :lol

I wish I could have seen last night's game. I am hoping NBATV will do a replay of it this weekend. From what i heard it was as close to a vintage Kobe we are gonna get ...
I still am 100% behind the tank movement but I get why players and coach won't quit.
Still have 2nd worst record and hopefullly when Oakafor gets his head out his ass he can help the Sixers win some games.

You do know that Duncan just led the Spurs in scoring and rebounds in a blowout win last night.

For the season, Kobe is 84 for 270 on FGA for 31%.
For the season, Duncan is 73 for 138 for 53%

So Kobe has taken 132 more attempts, but only hit 11 more shots than Duncan all year.

Duncan Offensive & Defensive Ratings are 110 & 90. That's +20.
Kobe's Offensive & Defensive ratings are 87 & 111. That's -24.

Duncan is even averaging more assists per minute as a Center than Kobe does playing SG or SF.

If you have league pass or know someone with league pass you should be able to watch that game as they archive the games to watch previous ones online.

I agree with OP. Kobe is way too good to retire. He needs at least 4 more years at ~20m a year.
