Spurs are winning.

Only to lose in the first round. Making the playoffs is all the Spurfans care about.

If Tim ever decided to have an advertised Farewell Tour, the same would happen to him.

No doubt about it. In maybe every city but Phoenix.

God damn, you Lakers fans are clinging to everything you can get this season.

In their rich history, dating all the way back to Minneapolis, land of the lakes, this basketball team had only missed the playoffs in consecutive seasons once pre-Kobe. They are working on their 3rd straight. In the 47 years prior to Kobe joining the team, they missed the playoffs 4 times. They'll have missed the playoffs 4 times in the past 12 years at the completion of this season. What a legacy.

Good luck in the lottery, Kool :toast

The Spurs are considered a top 5 franchise in tbe history of the NBA. Since its inception they have gone to 6 Finals and won 5. Kobe Bryant has gone to 7 Finals and won 5 in a 3rd of the time. For a guy that has missed so many playoffs he sure has accomplished a lot.

I feel honestly that a large portion of the applause is because they won't have to hear about him again.
