I disagree. Let's look at Kobe's stats vs Duncan (longest time Spur who doesn't miss many games) head to head to see how Kobe typically does vs the Spurs.

Kobe also consumes 32 1/2 Lakers possessions to get his 24.5 points and 4.5 assists a game. Otherwise known as barely average NBA offensive efficiency.

Real Lakers Spur killer? That would be Shaq. Or Bynum/Gasol. Kobe has had a couple good series but he's never been the threat those bigs were and would not have been factor had those other guys not been beasting.

That's not really a feat when the Spurs as a team only hit 4 threes in the last two games. . .of a series they got swept in including multiple blowouts.

Shaq and Kobe killed us that series, not Fisher. Fisher was only scoring 13-16 point aside from the game 4 30 point blowout. I'm sure Fisher was "chiling on the bench" too, having played 41 minutes that game and getting 1/3rd of his points that game in the fourth after they were already up by over 20.
