:lol Not even an honorable mention for Jim? What a slap in the face to Spurs fans that thought all these years that Kobe considered Jim a rival. I guess we can now all put this shit to rest now that the horse has spoken.
Kobe 4 Jim 2
"Michael Jordan and Allen Iverson (http://www.sbnation.com/nba/players/21504/allen-iverson) are the two that come to mind immediately, just because they were just relentless. Michael, his relentlessness was amazing, Scottie [Pippen]'s as well, at both ends of the floor. Then in my generation, AI was much the same, from opening tip to the end this guy was just going and going and going. He would always put you in jeopardy. So those two guys were the most competitive I've faced."

Nope... he's just confirming what I've been saying all along. Jordan and AI are better than Jim... that's fact.

Kobe said it so it must be the truth. Let it be known that Allen Iverson is better than Tim Duncan.
Who would have thought that ANYONE would have said that Michael Jordan was better than anyone, much less Tim Duncan. Who did this Jordan guy play for? The Wizards?

Well... Z-Bo, Webber, Dirk, Wallace, or KG had played with Iverson they would have as many rings as Duncan... easily.
Oh jeez,, Hitler is not my enemy because he's dead. Therefore Hitler must be o.k., because he's not my enemy.

I bet. Do red headed dudes have freckled dicks like the women have freckled titties? Always wondered about that but asking another guy that is kinda awkward...even if you are friends.

Nothing wrong with what Kobe said...Tammy was not a fire brand player..with his slueth boring ass play he appealed to those folks in old folks homes, fat belly dorks, and to queer nation...So I totally get where Kobe is coming from....he was no competition to Kobe....he was lame and boring like he is today..nothing has changed...his team's were good but he was no personal challenge to top tier players..only scrubs like Roy Hibbert thought he was special...Kobe was spot on. .
Me-first players' idea of being 'competitive' is scoring at all costs. It's why guys like Timmy and LBJ, who usually make the right basketball play instead of forcing shit, aren't mentioned.
Unfortunately for Kirby and AI, Mike was really the only one that could make that style work as an alpha. Kirby and AI were just too inefficient.

Kobe owns Jim head to head and Jim owns Lebron head to head so its no wonder why Kobe didn't mention any of them.

A top 5 ball hog you must mean. Listen to these FG%'s
41.6
41.2
42.1
42.0
39.8
41.4
38.7
42.4
Those aren't the twilight years, either. Those are 8 of Iverson's first 9 seasons.
The year that Iverson had his 'great run' leading his team to the Finals, he shot 38.9 percent in the playoffs.
Dude's over-rated garbage.

The level of competition has nothing to do with shooting percentage, you jackass.
Kirby naming the only two egomaniacs who might match his level of sociopathy, that's surprising :lol

Funny how he didn't mention Ray Allen b/c he is the one guy that has publicly criticized him nor Pierce b/c he won FMVP while playing against him along w/ Garnett b/c he punked the Lakers in the Finals when he had a healthy knee. There is no way he would acknowledge the best player of his generation: Timothy
“He’s going to be very selfish,” Allen said of Bryant, who scored 15 of his team’s first 20 points and had 35 points in Tuesday’s loss. “And he feels like he needs to show this league and the people in this country that he is better without Shaq. He can win championships without Shaq. So offensively, he’s going to jump out and say, ‘I can average 30 points. I can still carry the load on this team.’
“If Kobe doesn’t see he needs two and a half good players to be a legitimate playoff contender or win a championship in about a year or two he’ll be calling out to Jerry Buss that ‘We need some help in here,’ or ‘Trade me,’ ” Allen said. “And we’ll all be saying, ‘I told you so,’ when he says that.”:lmao

Shaq wanted the Buss to trade Kirby for Pierce & even gave him the nick name "The Truth" after he busted Kirby's ass which is why Kirby never mentions him:
Kirby sets an NBA record for most missed shots in a game (30, 17-47:lmao) while Pierce hit the game winner: http://www.basketball-reference.com/boxscores/200211070BOS.html

Another good take from the same interview
"I think he talks because he feels like he has to talk," Allen said. "He's out there playing, and if he does something good I feel like he needs to pat himself on the back because to me, it seems like he's isolated out there. As much as it's five-on-five, I don't see much camaraderie going on out there with his teammates."

Q. LeBron, to that end, as a student of NBA history, how do you think Tim will ultimately be regarded in this era as one of the players of this era? How do you think he'll be viewed?
LeBRON JAMES: Probably one of the best players to ever play the game of basketball. If I just look at the last 15 years, he's probably been the most consistent, most dominant player that we've had as far as 15 years all together. He's won five titles, multiple All-Stars, MVP, and so on and so on.
I think he doesn't get a lot of recognition because he's not flashy like a lot of guys are. He's not jumping over people and high-flying and doing the things that attracts people to the game. But I think true basketball, true IQ people, players know how great he is. What else can you say?

Iverson abused him so bad they had to put Tyrone lue on him, not to mention he was so gassed he can only put up 15 points :lol.
Shaq and iverson combo would've won 5 championships in a row.
