He needs the blame because he's really underperforming at the moment and they are paying him millions for what amounts to just slightly above average skills and motivation. That's not gonna cut it on any NBA team for long given the expectations unless Pop initially represented he'd be fine with LaMarcus collecting millions while coasting and eating churros and muchas tamales.
