View Full Version : Did someone in Philadelphia deliberately poison Kawhi's food?

Kawhi ate a rotten Philly cheese steak sandwich and got a stomach ailment as a result. He missed the Sixers game and played sick against the Raptors today, explaining his poor performance.

Last season "Boris Diaw says he is over his bout with food poisoning. He blames curdled milk" Now, Kawhi. Very suspicious...

Spurs' Borgias, tbh.

Kawhi just confirmed it was a bad sandwich. :lmao

Seems to be from yesterday but he and Pop said the same thing and Kawhi ain't going to play around with a question.

Sad but true.

That flu game by Jordan was supposed to be food poisoning. That shit is no joke. Glad Kawhi is getting better though. :lol

I had food poisoning once in Moscow. It was hell even going to the office, much less running up and down a court against the best athletes in the world.

At least it was a road loss against an Eastern team. About as inconsequential as a loss can be. Let him sit out the Lakers game.

Our best player wasn't his explosive self. I can't really blame him. Shouldn't even be on the floor but he toughed it out.

It is interesting Kawhi played at all. Pop is usually very conservative on such things. Either Leonard said he felt fine, or, more likely, Pop knew he couldn't make the condition any worse, so why not play hims?

But we won't need the Klaw against the Lakers (Kobe can miss even when unguarded) so let him get fully healthy.

So subtle. Read it at least 20 times before getting it. :lmao

If I were kawhi, I'd just prepare my own meals from now on. Hopefully he learns from this.

Wouldn't be surprised if some cook from a Philly joint gave Kawhi rotten meat knowing the Spurs were playing the Sixers that night.

LOL. Matt should be the official sandwich taster on the team. Like a servant to the king, he should take a bite of every Kawhi meal, before Kawhi dives in.
