Pouring a glass of wine and getting ready to sit down and watch all the "black lives matter" protesters go Christmas shopping.

Which case was this?

CosmicCowboy

Baltimore cop. First one Marilyn Mosby went after being the driver...thought they could get a conviction on something on him so he would plea down to testify against the others. Oops.

Ah, fuck Freddy Gray, he wanted to scam and paid the price. Now BLM would be justified tearing shit up if that fucking Chicago cop who shot the kid 16 times gets off.

Yeah the video on that one was pretty sick.

Boo conveniently ignores the fact that Freddie had run that "police brutality" scam before and gotten paid.

lol, as if that justifies a street execution.

Seems like the jurors that heard the facts don't agree with you.

Does it matter?

The results is the same. A guy is dead because these officers failed to give medical assistence or even gave a shit. They are responsible for the person they arrest.

That said though, none of these cops will serve any time. They will get off clean.

We'll see. A hung jury is not a "not guilty" verdict.

jurors should be concerned about self preservation.

My bad. He was living off payments from a lead paint lawsuit against his landlords, not a suit against the city.

Fortunately they have access to a real judge and jury and don't have to rely on the judgement of whackos like you.

A mistrial means the prosecution can attempt again to get a verdict no?

A courtroom trial that has been terminated prior to its normal conclusion. A mistrial has no legal effect and is considered an invalid or nugatory trial. It differs from a "new trial," which recognizes that a trial was completed but was set aside so that the issues could be tried again.

Yes and Mosby has no choice but to press forward with a new trial or else watch shit burn again. Really not looking good for Baltimore considering this was the strongest case they had. Odds are no convictions or only the black cop goes down either case probably means shit is going to burn.
