I really don't like my job much. I work at UTSA library and it is extremely boring and the hours suck. I work 12p-9p Tuesday-Saturday. I drive like 30 miles from work and get paid very little. My girlfriend offered to pay the bills until I find something else, but I don't know if I should go for it. I have a tendency to be a bit lazy and I'm afraid 6 months will pass and I still won't have a job.

Find another job right now while you're still working there, don't have any downtime of being jobless. That's how they get you.

Rule of thumb is to find a job before quitting unless your fired.

I'm actually a real dickhead and have the temper of an Irishman. If I was ever pissed I'd go off on pretty much anyone.

How is that going to help your future? 2 weeks notice in writing. Never just say I quit or 2 weeks. Be professional about it. The job may be bad but I bet I can find about say 100,000 worse jobs in this town...

Show some humility and better jobs will come your way.

Everything about UTSA is fucked up. Some of the professors, the advisors, the people who make the schedules, parking (the parking garage is a joke), and many many other things. UT Tyler, in little bitty Tyler, Texas is better(sometimes I think I shoulda stayed there just for the school). Oh yea, the topic at hand, yea you should definitely quit and tell them they've got another thing coming cuz every single person in charge is a flippin idiot. And I'm spent.
