The Lakers brand is sullied beyond belief right now. No way a high profile FA comes to play with this dumpster fire. Their best bet is to hope and pray they get Simmons, hope he pans out, hope the Lakers turn into a decent 35-45 win team in the next few years, and then maybe they'll attract an FA.
