Dallas are by far the biggest beneficiary of this rather weak year in the Western Conference..The majority of folks predicted them to be out of playoff, a 38-42 win team especially with question marks over Wes and Parsons..But the collapse and underwelming performance of teams like Pelicans/Houston/Grizz and Clippers have opened things for them..
I genuinely think this team have a shot at 4th seed if they add a couple of guys by trade deadline, mainly a rim protector who would ease the defensive overstretch their help guys are doing which has resulted in their poor 3 point defense ( i think they concede the most wide open 3 in the league)..Yesterday, Carlisle, maybe sensing this semi-opportunity, threatened to ship out players after their poor effort in Toronto....
a 4th/5th matchup with Clippers could easily be 50/50 affair with Demonkey factor and RC coaching circles around Doc :lol..but they need a couple more contributor, though..
