I think we value him highest. Furthermore, the rest of the league is mimicking the Dubs' small ball. We alone are not trying to beat them at their own game. We are gonna try to force them to beat us at ours. If we win, maybe some scrub team over pays him, but I doubt it. I think the league is at a historic juncture, however.

Another team CAN'T offer more than the non-tax MLE. It's called the Gilbert Arenas provision. The Spurs absolutely WILL be able to keep him, if they want to spend their MLE that way. Period.
