The team is holding Duncan out to cement West into the starting lineup. At least try it out. We'll see Aldridge-Duncan lineups but staggering the order will help the bench and basically slam the door shut on a lot of teams.

Okay, I doubt it, but why not?

I think its to kickstart LMA.

Yeah - I expect them to return back to normal and play the two together so they continue to learn to coexist offensively.

Last year's shot charts show LMA shooting 948 shots from the left side and 405 from the right. Take out shots in the paint and you're at 643 L and 171 R.

Duncan has always been more balanced to that side of the floor too. 451-401 and 138-85 last year overall/outside paint from L/R.

Both guys have been more balanced this year, though LMA's preference is still the left block.

Thank goodness Kawhi is has been most deadly from the right side this year.

I wouldn't mind Duncan anchoring the 2nd team in some situations at all. Imagine the Big 3 next year as the Big 3 Reserves... That would be pretty cool.

I don't see the conspiracy, Pop just sitting TD to get a real long look at Boban. To me Boban will be more of a factor in the future than D west. Boban is looking like he might b the 6th man of the year if he was allowed to anchor that 2nd unit. No way it happens this season, but that is just how well he's doing.

Meanwhile can we win a championship this year with more West and little Boban?

Yes! This is what I have been saying all along. A first unit that beats most other first units and holds its own against elite first units PLUS a second unit of HOFers that blows out every other second unit in the league. Lots of Boban against the one-dimensional bigs like Dwight, Jordan and Chandler.

Nice. But I still don't see Parker getting bumped from the starting line-up.

I said something similar when I saw the Nuggets and Minny game live. West looked way more into it as a starter, and yeah maybe LMA gets a boost by not having TD out there running just hi lo sets all the time.

Not this year, but next season I think better depth at PG will be a priority.

Pop and Parker have a devil's pack. Pop is rolling with Parker 'til the wheels fall off.

At least another season, the 2017 off-season is loaded with PGs though, including Pop's favorite GH.

While i do believe West-Aldridge and Duncan-Diaw are our best big combinations i donīt think Pop will do it, just maybe sub in west a bit earlier so that Tim can play a bit more with Manu and the 2nd Unit.
The problem is that until you teach Aldridge how to screen you cannot really pair Parker with him.
As of now Parker cannot blow past anyone without a good screener on the court.

Right handed players like to work from the left side of the floor so they can go middle.
