Pretty cool show. Had no idea it was gonna be like a western.
The priest guy was so useless though.
And I really thought them holding prostitutes in high esteem was silly :lol

But great show.
The movie was so different than the show. And it was tight seeing River finally kick some ass.

Now I get why so many fans were freaked it got canceled.

It was too slow moving for my taste.

Loved the show... the movie not so much. They tried to explain away and squeeze too much into two hours.

Also I thought it was hilarious how Animal Mother from FMJ was such a likeable shady guy.

He had some of the funniest lines.
Far cry from, "Fuck it. Let her rot. "

I watched the series last may and understand why everyone got so upset. It was a great show! I think that the priest was going to have a role in later seasons. Oh well.

It was a good show with greater upside. Strong, interesting characters.

Writing could lag at times. But with homes focus, could have been special.

Still worth a watch every so often.

Along similar lines.

I'm sure the pitch used the enduring popularity of Firefly as part of the argument to produce it.

First season is on Netflix, at about 18 bucks if memory serves.

Well acted, and production values were pretty good. Writing was a bit unsteady, but good, about what one might expect in the first season of any worthwhile show.
