He's been a huge disappointment all season (and, not coincidentally, so have the Grizzlies). A guy with his skill set and size should not be shooting just 46% and grabbing less than 8 boards a game. His per-36 numbers overall are pathetic. Can't believe that 2 seasons ago he was considered by some to be the best C in the league...

Agreed, tbh. He's never had the killer instinct to lead a team or be a franchise player. He's a great passer and overall two-way player, but he's no superstar and has definitely never been the best C in the game.

He has never been a high rebounding big, might actually be worse than Robin Lopez. He needs a change of scenery before he becomes morbidly obese like Diaw in Charlotte. :lol

If I'm the Grizz then ship him out to Boston for multiple lotto picks or trade him to Miami for Whiteside/Winslow+Deng/Birdman(to match salaries). Also ship out Conley/Z-Bo for whatever they can get, maybe Z-Bo to the Wiz & Conley to the Knicks.

He's an oversized version of Diaw.

Yes but he's been inconsistent this season as well.

Dude made his bed and chose to rot in Memphis.. he just doesn't have Pau's winner mentality..not even making a threat to leave if they didn't upgrade the roster :lmao..

Spurs dodged a bullet..we already got mini-version of him in Diaw..

Diaw's post game is better, tbh, but yeah, it's a good comparison.

He's actually lost a lot of weight in the last few years. I think most of his issue is between the ears. I agree though that the Grizz probably need to blow it up at this point. They're a playoff team, and that's essentially their ceiling with this bunch.
