Surprised he lived as long as he did.
He had a half dozen or so songs I liked, but most of his stuff, nay.

Damn, just found out from this thread. Guess it's true. That fucking sucks. :depressed
So many great songs and memories. Considering how he lived, especially his Station to Station era, least he went peacefully with family nearby. Still what a loss.

Why Mitch? Seriously. I'd like to learn why.
Gonna make this nba related.
Who had the better diva/glam period? Bowie or Kobe?
When bowie was a drug dependent tosb he cleaned up and released black tie white noise.
When Kobe went tosb he cleaned up and became tank commander. Who had the better recovery?

Remaking yourself in the music industry is difficult and often not successful, he did it time & time again. He wasn't a one trick pony and that pretty much makes you a genius as far as music goes.

Are you able to make a thought in your fuckin head that doesn't involve kobe? When you masturbate, do images of kobe flood your head and that's all you can think about?

Agree to disagree, Cub
Hmm, I thought this was the Kobe forum. I thought a serious discussion of David bowie belongs in the club or a music site. I'm detecting a type of person who is getting emotional invested in am old man's death. I'm reading a lot of vanilla on this topic. I personally think bowies death is fine. He already reinvented music three times, it was dumb to ask more.
I'm playing only the less obvious bowie records today. Got to find my copy of "the hours".

He's not your generation Culb. I can understand why you don't get his style. He sold records to your kids generation.. Gen X to the Millenials
TL;DR
His music is cool as fuck
