Love him or hate him, he knows how to campaign. He'd crush even a good Republican candidate.
Speaking of which, it seems like Romney mistimed his second go at the office. He would have a much better chance this year if he had sat on the sidelines and watched how 2012 played out rather than being the example for worse candidates.

Sanders, who would need long coattail. America is radically fucked by BigFinance, and Bernie's "radical" policies are much more aggressive than Wall St tool Hillary.
otoh, with Repugs controlling the House via voter suppression and gerrymandering, I'm sure any Dem Pres would be obstructed 100% of the time.
