This old timer has been maligned and he's taken some hits over the years, but T Park is "good people" and he was one of the savvy souls here who "nailed it" on this take:

Aldridge doesn't get the credit for it, but he is a damn good defensive player, and blocks shots quite easily.

The defense has the potential to be the best in the league next year with two excellent defensive bigs.

I would have never imagined how much LaMarcus would improve this team's defense. I was expecting the D to really fall off this season and instead it's the best it has been in 10 years.

Irrelevant. TPark is the same guy that quit on the Spurs publicly then welched after they started winning again.

Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Etc. His relentless optimism and refusal to accept reality means he's going to hit on a positive trend every now and again.
