He's been really off lately, and obviously his defense is more hustle plays than any real defense. He's terrible in PnR. He has just not gotten too much notoriety bc Danny has been slumping and Kawhi and Lamarcus alternated low scoring games among themselves.

Oh I totally agree on that. I also think Danny is just better with the SL. He's a low usage floor spacer who hustles on D and is careful with not fouling, plus experienced and with good instincts for getting deflections/steals + perimeter D. He's not shooting the 3 though and its bound to become a problem soon.

I don't like him in the bench bc he doesn't add much to them if he's not hitting his shots, and he's not a gifted passer for the motion offense that the bench likes. Plus, as you say, Simmons adds a lot to the bench.
