...they should be humiliated and ashamed. It's just them and three fraud teams who they should easily beat.

At Denver they're a 58-42 favorite
Vs Carolina they're very slight underdogs
Vs Arizona they're a toss up/slight favorites

The public will be all over the Patriots from now on to the super bowl, so naturally I'll fade them and end up losing

Neither one of these Panther/Cards teams know what a Supebowl is like. While these Pats do, this is a biggie. And ya give Belichick two weeks to prepare, he does, If all the stars are there for the Pats come SB time, they will win it.

If New England does repeat the NFL is f:lolcked. They have absolutely no significant free agents and will still have $5 - $10 million in cap space to add pieces. Unless there are major injuries they won't have any real threats in the AFC outside of maybe Pittsburgh.

Ravens should be pretty tough next year too.

Every year since they won the SB the Ravens have been picked as a pre-season sleeper. I'm not buying it yet. I think Pittsburgh will kill them next year if they stay healthy.

Probably. He might have 2 more elite years left since he was a backup in college and sat his first year, thus he has less mileage.

Super Bowl experience is the most overrated intangible there is.

Patriots never would have beat the Rams
Giants never would have beat Patriots
Colts would have defeated the Saints
Steelers would have defeated the Packers
Broncos would have defeated Seahawks

Shit, the Bills would be a dynasty.

It matters the way a coin flip to start the game matters.

Sadly, the Steelers are the Ravens bitch and have been their bitch for a while. Ravens have won like 8 of 11, 5 of 6 including that playoff win last season against Pittsburgh. They even swept the Steelers this year. That is one team that bothers the fuck out of me. They know how to get to Big Ben, and Harbaugh is a great coach. Steelers have stopped owning the Ravens after the 2011 divisional round game.

I think I'll go with what these guys say about it, not that they are the only ones.

Maybe Manning but no way Brady would. He's still playing too well and would want to go for a three-peat.

Lookit fuckstick, Tommy O'Brady already said he wants to play till he's 45. I fahkin bet he could play until he's 50 fahkin years old, and still be the best fahkin QB in the league! It's wicked crazy to think he hangs em up after winning Ring #5 since he's basically fahkin guaranteed to win 3-4 fahkin more.

That's nice. Final results suggest it's about as relevant as which team receives the ball first.

Of the recent Super Bowls where one team had significantly more experience than its opponant, the experienced team is no more likely to win than the non-experienced.

I've cited six examples from last 15 years. And half the Super Bowls pitted equally experienced teams.

Shit, of even the losing teams, almost all were within one score.

Fact is, since 2001, experience is a code word and little else. Even the mighty Patriots couldn't always make it work.

Patriots over Rams (didn't matter)
Buccaneers over Raiders (equally experienced)
Patriots over Panthers (maybe mattered, though last to have ball mattered more)
Patriots over Eagles (mattered because TO said McNabb was up chucking)
Steelers over Seahawks (equally experienced)
Colts over Bears (equally experienced)
Giants over Patriots (didn't matter)
Steelers over Cardinals (maybe mattered)
Saints over Colts (didn't matter)
Packers over Steelers (didn't matter)
Giants over Patriots (equally experienced since 2008)
Ravens over 49ers (equally experienced)
Seahawks over Broncos (didn't matter)
Patriots over Seahawks (equally experienced in recency)

That's like six seasons the zero experienced team beat the team with more or the QB with more, to only three seasons where most experienced won, and four where neither team truly held experience advantage.

Raw stats say you're full of shit.
