Looks like #2 is trending even on a Spurs off day- looks like he might start. FWIW, I voted him in over Draymond- more deserving. Hope he gets it :toast

On NBA All Star page; the question is which player is most likely to make his first all-star game. KL ahead of Raymond 77 K to 33 K. KL must be making serious gains. People realizing the error of their ways. We'll see if it's enough.

I put in a vote for KL just now. That was the only player I voted for. The website is ridiculously disorganized. They couldn't have made it a bigger pain in the ass to vote.

Easiest way to vote is through Twitter (Kawhi Leonard #NBAVote) or googling "NBA Vote Spurs".

I've been voting via Twitter, Facebook, Google, and nba.com daily for at least a week. I had pretty much given up hope after the last round of votes came out and KL dropped further behind.

And I don't have a thing against Draymond Green starting. It's that SOB Kobe, who has never been a front court player and who is currently a replacement level player. But since the dumb-ass public is voting Kobe in and Durant is an understandable #2, KL needs to knock Draymond out of the starting lineup.

If KL starts, I guess Durant will be the West's starting center.

Whi and Green are equally deserving tbh. Green is averaging close to a triple double and is arguably the cog that makes the Warriors go. Kobe is the disgrace, and hopefully the league will change this shit after this year.

From a statistical p.o.v. your assertion is not wrong. But Kawhi is / has been playing at a different level, tbh.

Green's not giving up the lead after tonight. Total Warrior domination.

Green is on a MUCH more top-heavy team. Kawhi is probably the superior player at the end of the day but Green has been asked to do just as much if not more, he's delivered more than almost any player in the league could, and his team has a better record. This wouldn't even be an issue if Bean weren't starting.

If Kawhi indeed does start, who the heck takes the opening tip for the West? Durant? Maybe even Russ?

Sure as hell won't be Kobe or Curry.

You can't go by number of mentions alone though. Until the last day or two Green has had at least 500k on Leonard. That goes back to the first all-star returns where Leonard had a 4K lead on Green. The second returns Green had just over a 1k lead on Leonard. The last returns he had nearly 12k on him.

We just have to hope the Twitter push for Leonard was enough to cover all the voting options for Green. While a more than worthy effort by the fans, I'm not sure it was enough.

And we have kobe who is not a top 100 player in the league and has not played a min of his career as an sf in the starting line up :lmao
