Chuckster sticking up for Kawhi before the Cavs game by calling him, with tinge of hyperbole, the best player in the world did the trick :lol..
That's why Leonard will need to outplay Curry in couple of national TV games vs the Dubs to solidify his long-shot MVP chance in case we stay close to the Dubs in the standing..
Kawhi need to embrace a bit the trappings of stardom in order to get dem "calls"..he is easily the most disrespected star player by referees (he got street cred on D, but not yet on offense)..

I think he doesn't get cheap free throws because they don't call cheap fouls on him on the other end. The refs let them play more physical.

Only way Kawhi gets MVP is for the Spurs to win 3-1 on all these games. He needs that. He knows that too.

Spurs 4-2 the playoffs in 2013
Spurs 10-3 the last 13 games. Someone tell me who daddy and daughter is between the too. :lmao

Unless the Spurs win 70 games, Leonard doesn't finish in the top four in the MVP race.

Unless the Spurs win 70 games, Leonard doesn't finish in the top four in the MVP race. it's curry and then Kawhi in the MVP race. It's going to be a two man race. If he doesn't win it, he's going to finish 2nd.

Possibly, but I'll believe it when I see it.
